In the afternoon, Mu Xi was going to meet a client.
This client had been arranged a few days ago, and coincidentally, the meeting place was near the hospital where Yang Sheng was staying.
Mu Xi left right after lunch, bought a bouquet of flowers at a flower shop near her company, and went to visit Yang Sheng at the hospital first.
She did not call in advance, and when she arrived, Yang Sheng's cousin Le Tong was still there.
Le Tong had peeled an apple for Yang Sheng and, fearing he might have difficulty eating, carefully cut it into small pieces. When Mu Xi entered the room, Yang Sheng was holding a bowl, picking up the small pieces with a toothpick, his face showing a child-like playful and genuine smile.
Seeing her arrival, Le Tong stood up and took the bouquet from her hands, placing it on the coffee table. Yang Sheng put the bowl on the bedside cabinet and smiled at her.
"Why have you come? Don't you have to work?"
