The next day, in the morning.
It was past ten when Mia Ginger woke up groggily.
Her whole body was aching.
She lifted a hand to rub her sleepy eyes, yawned, and turned over, only to bump into a firm chest.
Koa Jackson, too, unusually got up late.
Looking at him, all the scenes from last night flooded back into Mia Ginger's mind.
She really couldn't feel happy.
Pouting, she turned over to face away from Koa Jackson again.
"What's wrong?" Koa Jackson lifted his hand to grip her shoulder, asking softly, "Still sulking?"
"I don't want to talk to you," Mia Ginger replied in a muffled voice.
Don't want to talk to him?
Koa Jackson looked at her thin back, pursing his thin lips, feeling that he was indeed a bit out of control last night, and asked softly, "Still hurting?"
Mia Ginger bit her lip and didn't say a word.
It wasn't about the pain; she just felt that Koa Jackson wasn't being accommodating.
