Camden River and Windsor Myres withdrew their gazes and turned to enter the neighborhood. Before they even got upstairs, Camden said, "I'll take you home later."
"No." Windsor never expected him to say something like that, and she directly refuted, "I already told you I had a fight with my mom and can't go home. If I go home, she might lock me up, and I won't be able to see you."
"My parents will be coming over soon." As they exited the elevator, Camden unlocked the door and said while walking inside, "If they come over and see us living together, do you think that's appropriate?"
His parents didn't have a great impression of her, and Camden naturally didn't want any more accidents.
Windsor was briefly quiet, then compromised, "They don't know the place and can't make a surprise visit. When they get here, I'll just pack up my things temporarily. What's the big deal?"
"We're in a legitimate relationship. Why do we have to be sneaky about it?"
