Iris Harris let out a soft sigh and stood up from the bench. Her phone, tucked away in her bag, suddenly rang. As she answered it, she heard Nathan Nelson's panicked voice: "Sis, my sister's in trouble!"
Iris froze instantly: "What happened?"
"My sister went out today, and the police station just called saying she hit someone with her car... She's been taken to the detention center!"
Nathan's voice carried fear and a hint of helplessness. After all, he was just a teenager, and the last time he ventured alone and got arrested at the detention center with the police was still vivid in his memory. Now, he didn't dare to blindly rush over like last time.
When he received the news, he was so terrified that he instinctively called Iris Harris.
"Where are you now?"
Iris's expression slightly darkened; an incident like this could be serious or trivial, and the Nelson family was currently beset with both internal and external troubles. Iris felt overwhelmed.
