Iris Harris could feel John Foster's gaze lingering behind Melody, his lips curving into a mischievous smile, full of wickedness.
She discreetly blocked John Foster's line of sight and coldly said, "Mr. Foster, remember what you promised."
She wasn't inexperienced and knew well the look a man has when he's interested in a woman.
Sometimes she really thought this man was despicable; after treating Melody like that, he could still appear before her unfazed.
John Foster chuckled, "I haven't done anything."
Iris's gaze was icy, "In any case, I hope Mr. Foster can abide by the agreement we made at the hospital and preferably, not appear before my sister anymore. Melody is young, inexperienced with the world, and inherently pure. It's not a big deal to make a mistake in seeing through someone once, but repeatedly falling for the same person is something I, as her sister, will not allow."
In other words, if John Foster dared to make a move on Melody this time, she would intervene.
