"...How do you know..." A hint of confusion flashed in Iris Harris's eyes.
But she didn't know that these words were like an admission to Brandan Hyde.
Brandan's heart cooled at that moment.
He sat there, finding it somewhat ridiculous.
"You say you like me, but you also like someone else, Iris Harris, your heart is truly big." His tone grew more sinister, "When did you start with him? Huh? Did you get involved with him back when you were with Henry Ford? He was just a bodyguard back then, were you really that desperate?"
His fingers gripped tighter, suddenly feeling like a fool.
He stared intently at Iris, hoping she would have an explanation.
She simply stared at him, lips tightly pressed, not uttering a single word.
This was utterly despairing.
Brandan suddenly raised his hand and swept everything off the table onto the floor.
