"I'm going to the company tomorrow."
Brandan Hyde put on his suit jacket, ready to leave.
"But I hope Brother Brandan can come and stay with me."
Brandan paused slightly in his steps, turning to look at her.
Emily Dormer, who was always gentle, showed rare stubbornness at this moment, "The doctor said, Emily will start rehabilitation tomorrow. If I don't do it now, my bones will heal crooked... Emily is so afraid of the pain, Brother Brandan, will you stay with Emily tomorrow?"
Brandan glanced at her cast-covered right leg. Although he wanted to refuse, he felt uneasy remembering her current predicament was all because she saved him.
He nodded, "I'll rearrange my schedule and come over if I can."
Emily immediately smiled, "Then Emily will wait for Brother Brandan in the ward."
Brandan nodded and then opened the door to leave.
After Brandan left, Emily's smile slightly faded. She lowered her eyes and lightly pressed her lips together.
He really cares about that woman.
