Left Hong helplessly wondered, just how harsh was he with her normally?
"Don't cry. The more moisture you lose, the faster you die."
These words were more effective than anything else. Zoe Lewis immediately stopped crying, fumbled with her small bag, and offered him the water: "We still have a bottle of water. Can we survive a few more days?"
Her bag was too small to fit a 550ml bottle of mineral water; she had brought two 300ml small bottles instead.
Left Hong had just drunk one bottle, so now only one bottle was left.
Left Hong leaned against the wall, holding her, feeling her place the water on him, and chuckled softly in the darkness.
How could she be so foolish, shouldn't she hide the water and drink it herself?
Zoe Lewis would never drink it herself; she couldn't possibly survive alone, watching Left Hong die of thirst.
