Left Hong was once again disliked by his mother, but felt no turbulence in his heart.
His mom still didn't know that the 600,000 meant for Zoe had ended up in his hands last time.
He had always wanted to find an opportunity to slip that card to Zoe, but sadly the timing was always wrong.

Left Hong said nothing, falling into silence.
He thought Zoe was probably really angry; she hadn't spoken to him the entire way, which was strange for someone who loved to talk so much.
After all, she had traveled miles to find him, busily descended the mine late at night looking for him, and had been dragged by him to spend a grueling thirty hours in the mine, leaving her completely exhausted.
Yet he hadn't even said a simple "sorry" or "thank you."
