Later that night, Haruma's car slowly pulled to a stop outside a house at the corner of a quiet, dimly lit street.
Inside the car, Haruma sat in the driver's seat while Shiori remained beside him, silently looking ahead at the empty road through the windshield.
Haruma's eyes lingered on her for a moment.
Sensing his gaze, Shiori slowly turned toward him, their eyes meeting in the soft silence. A gentle smile formed on her lips.
Haruma smiled back warmly. "Thank you for inviting me."
Keeping her gentle smile, Shiori nodded. "I thought it'll help you relax before the big stage."
Haruma's expression softened even more. "It really helped, thank you."
Shiori let out a quiet breath. "Best of luck. When are you leaving?"
"After two weeks," Haruma replied, his eyes never leaving hers.
Their gazes remained locked in the quiet car.
"So…" Shiori spoke softly, "Does that mean this was our last meeting?"
