The Grandmaster after all was an Elder of the Universe. He possessed an infinite lifespan and countless years of experience. Although he harbored immense doubts and anger over Beta Ray Bill's escape, he quickly calmed down his emotions.
Beta Ray Bill's escape was a fait accompli. He could no longer afford to waste energy raging about it. Without Bill he still had the Hulk. Even the recently captured Asgardian could become a future Arena champion. He still had valuable assets to draw upon.
Therefore the Grandmaster chose not to pursue Beta Ray Bill. No one knew Bill's true strength better than he did. If the Grandmaster had not secretly orchestrated something to weaken him, Bill would have been impossible to capture in the first place. A rash attempt to recapture him would only lead to greater losses.
Taking a deep breath, the Grandmaster turned and left with his people. He left only a few behind to handle related matters. The battle between the Hulk and the Asgardian was imminent. The Grandmaster was eagerly anticipating it. So he naturally could not miss it.
Meanwhile Beta Ray Bill draped in a cape and hood looked up at the sky. He took a deep breath of the fresh air and muttered to himself. "Finally... I see the sky again."
"You will have more time to see it later. Now let us go watch the competition. I have been looking forward to it for a long time."
"Okay I want to see who my successors are too."
Sebastian led Bill forward. Under the cover of his magic, the two of them smoothly entered the arena. They found two seats and waited for the fight to begin.
Amidst raucous cheers from the crowd, Thor Odinson and the Hulk finally joining the fight entered the arena one after another.
What followed was not much different from what Sebastian remembered. At his current level of power, he could recall most of his past memories with perfect clarity. So he could remember them clearly.

The two appeared on a tower-like building on the planet Sakaar. Glancing at the arena tower in the distance, Sebastian suddenly conjured a water mirror with his wand. It reflected the face of Star-Lord Peter Quill.
"Peter you crushed the crystal I gave you. What happened?"
"Sebastian? What kind of technology is this thing of yours? Is it magic?"
Looking at Peter in the water mirror, Sebastian said to him. "Yes this is also magic. You cannot learn it."
Shrugging, Peter said. "That is a pity. I..."
Before Peter could finish his words, Yondu who had also joined the Guardians of the Galaxy interrupted Peter. He pushed Peter aside. He said to Sebastian. "Hello Sebastian we need help."

"By the time you finish speaking Xandar will be destroyed by Thanos."
Pushing Peter aside again, Yondu looked at Sebastian. He gave an awkward smile revealing his big teeth inlaid with gold and silver.
"Sebastian now let us talk about helping. We recently received intelligence news that Thanos has personally led his entire army to Xandar. He intends to seize Xandar's Power Stone.
We are ready to go to Xandar to help defend it. But we are no match for Thanos and his forces. Even if we join forces with Xandar's Nova Corps, we are unlikely to defeat Thanos and his army. That is why we had no choice but to come to you for help."
"Okay I understand the situation. Let us meet up on Xandar."
Yondu said grinning once more and nodding in agreement.
After Yondu finished speaking, Peter who wanted to say something more did not get a chance to talk. Sebastian simply reached out and wiped his hand across the water mirror. This caused both mirrors to dissipate leaving only Peter's resentful gaze behind.
Shaking his head and laughing, Sebastian looked at Bill and said. "Bill are you interested in fighting Thanos and his forces?"
A hint of a smile crept onto Bill's face. His eyes filled with fighting spirit.
"Of course. I would love to fight them."
Nodding, Sebastian stopped talking. He reached out and grabbed Bill's arm. Then he turned into a twisted vortex of magic and disappeared from the spot.
Xandar was a planet of peace and tranquility.
However beneath the surface of peace and tranquility, Xandar was already fully operational. The famous Nova Corps was fully prepared for battle. They were always ready to deal with the invading Thanos and his army of the Black Order.
At this critical moment the Guardians of the Galaxy arrived. Immediately the Nova Corps of Xandar lined the streets to welcome them.
When Peter and the others got off their spaceship, they immediately saw Rhomann Dey who was the captain of the Nova Corps. Peter immediately walked up to him. He shook his hand and hugged him.
Then Rhomann whispered to Peter. "Peter who is the man you were talking about? The one who can face Thanos and the Black Order head-on? Did he agree to come and help us?"
Hearing Rhomann's words, Peter smiled. He pointed behind him and said. "They are already here."
