Through blurred vision, Shaan watched as the resistance leader simply walked away from them. He had absolutely no idea why the resistance leader was looking for that key, but it was clear it had something to do with taking control of the Twilight Sanctum.
'I... I have to...'
Shaan's body finally gave out. He collapsed onto the floor as his vision grew increasingly blurry. Fresh blood continued to pour from his wounds, and a numb sensation slowly spread throughout his body.
All he could do was lie helplessly on the ground and watch the Resistance leader's footsteps disappear into the distance. Then, everything went black.

'What... what is this feeling?'
A strange warmth flowed through Shaan's entire body. He slowly regained control of his fingers, moving them one by one. His eyelids trembled before he finally opened his eyes.
The first thing he saw was Theo.
Theo wore a serious expression as he opened a small brown glass bottle.
