Ye Chen placed Su Wanyi on the bed and went to the kitchen to mix a glass of honey water.
Back in the room, he slowly helped Su Wanyi up and fed the honey water to her lips, gently laying her back down afterward.
After settling Su Wanyi, Ye Chen returned to the dining room to tidy up and wash the dishes.
Then he came to the room again, glancing at the sleeping Su Wanyi. She looked very cute, her eyelashes slightly trembling.
Just as Ye Chen was about to leave, he sadly discovered that Su Wanyi's delicate little hand was clutching his shirt corner.
"Husband, don't leave, stay with me," Su Wanyi said softly.
Ye Chen thought to himself: It seems this girl isn't asleep yet.
"Be good, wife, I'll go get you a glass of water," Ye Chen whispered, gently patting Su Wanyi's little hand.
No matter what he said or did, that little hand still clutched his shirt tightly, with no intention of letting go.
Helplessly, Ye Chen had to sit on the bed and coax Su Wanyi like a child.
