The crimson flesh covered every corner of the cave like decaying fibrous fungi, growing and stretching as if with its own consciousness. Entangled together, it seemed like the whole cave had turned into the intestines of some flesh monster, slowly writhing with each breath.
Mammon stepped forward, his foot landing on the fleshy ground, the sensation unpleasant, like stepping on muddy land, easily losing balance.
Losing balance here is not a good thing. Around him, amidst the fibrous flesh, one can vaguely see bizarre shapes that seem to mix human and animal traits. These pieces of flesh emit a piercing odor, unbearable to anyone who encounters it. These are the remains of people or animals who have stumbled here.
Moving ahead, the scarlet Blood Lake appears in sight, dirtier and uglier than other parts of the cave. Blood floods in from all directions.
A thin mist rises from the surface of the lake, spreading a pungent stench.
