The severed strands of hair fluttered in the air, and the uncontrolled black-clad figure convulsed on the ground. Xiao Lin flipped him over with a forceful move, as the broken strands inside his body desperately drilled in, seemingly alive. In the blink of an eye, not a single strand was left visible outside.
The black-clad figure twitched, then miraculously stood up, while the remaining four retreated to stand immobile before the black-haired man.
Xiao Lin adjusted his breathing while keeping an eye on the actions of the black-clad figure.
The uncontrolled black-clad figure spun in place, resembling a headless fly crashing around, suddenly falling then rising again, repeatedly and nonsensically.
The Controller closed his eyes, broken strands of hair hung on him quietly, just as when first seen, even the sharp cry seemed like an illusion Xiao Lin had. If not for the black-clad figure before him, he might have thought nothing had happened.
