Although this isn't the first time Yelu Shou has witnessed so-called living dead, Hong and Shao Qinyi are different. One truly appears human, while this one is more apt to be described as a brainless monster rather than a killing machine.
Yelu Shou opened his mouth, wanting to deny that Shao Qinyi before him was a resurrected monster. Admitting it would mean acknowledging that Hong was such a monster too, which he wouldn't do.
"Accept the truth, even if you want to deny it, you can't change the facts," Xiao Ya patted Yelu Shou's shoulder, while the chain in his hand flew like a sentient snake towards Shao Qinyi.
The chain wrapped around Shao Qinyi's neck and dragged him to the ground with force. Still, Shao Qinyi crawled forward, reaching for something, not towards Yelu Shou.
