Lin Jie sized up the red-haired man who appeared to be in his forties.
He was tall, with a well-maintained physique, without a hint of a paunch, and had a handsome face. The pair of wide-rimmed glasses perched on his nose added a scholarly air to him.
Before leaving, Ouyang Zhizhen had informed Lin Jie that this Julian was the technical director of the Morrison Industries negotiation team.
"Mr. Julian, you said you wanted to express your gratitude to me?" Lin Jie asked with some confusion.
Julian nodded lightly, hesitated for a moment, and said, "Dr. Lin, the child in Elenna's womb is mine."
Lin Jie suddenly understood and let out an "oh".
Julian hurriedly explained, "Dr. Lin, please don't misunderstand. Elenna and I are not in a romantic relationship. Although I've always liked her, she doesn't see me in that light."
"She just wanted a child, so she sought me out."
