June 10th, morning.
Qi Xingfen got out of the car and looked up at the building that was clearly visible from a distance.
From afar, it looked like a peeled, upright corn cob with husks curving out in four directions.
Now standing close to the building, Qi Xingfen felt a sense of grandeur, along with a hint of pressure, and her mood inexplicably became a bit nervous and excited.
Starting today, she would begin working here, her first time changing jobs.
Qi Xingfen slowly entered the lobby and saw several rows of tables with signs like registration, check-in, and consulting. There were over a dozen staff members serving the people in front of the tables.
She walked to the registration desk and waited in line for a moment. A charming-looking girl politely said, "Hello, please show your ID card!"
