"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"
The howling wind swept into his ears.
Falling, Qin Hao tensely stared below.
Upon reaching the peculiar tree, Qin Hao infused his fingers with Inner Strength and jabbed them directly into the wall.
Swoosh!
Thanks to that jab, he managed to temporarily land on the tree. The branches didn't break.
"Phew! That was close. Lucky this old tree is sturdy enough!"
Qin Hao wiped his sweat in lingering fear and inadvertently glanced down at the tree, his eyes suddenly widening.
Hidden under the canopy, there was actually a meter-wide hole in the cliffside.
Could the sound from earlier have come from this hole?
Qin Hao tentatively shouted into the hole: "Hey!"
No response came, only the wind whimpering.
Above him at the edge, the enormous thumping sound was approaching, as if a giant elephant was coming ashore.
And the voices of the indigenous people disappeared, inexplicably vanishing.
"Damn, the baby elephant's coming! Whatever!"
