Inside the hotel, Twain and Green reported the situation to the Fourth Elder.
"Elder, the people responsible for monitoring Ye Fan and Dais's meeting were all wiped out, and those sent to intercept and probe Dais were also all killed," Twain reported.
"As it stands now, Dais is a significant figure in the Hound Base. We only know that Dais alone comes and goes from the base openly. The trial results show that there is a powerful force protecting her, all proving Dais's importance in the Hound Base," Green said. "If Mr. Ye didn't place the breakthrough point for conquering the Hound Base on Dais, we could have gathered strong individuals to capture Dais instead of relying on mere probing."
"What on earth did Ye Fan and Dais talk about? What was the atmosphere of their conversation? We have no idea about any of this," the Fourth Elder said with a sullen face. "The people who were supposed to be monitoring them are all dead, and we're unable to get the information we wanted."
