Back at the office, Jiang Cheng immediately came in energetically.
Linda, what's going on? Why is everyone acting weird today? Jiang Cheng asked, puzzled.
Linda looked at Jiang Cheng, took a deep breath, and began to speak slowly.
Boss, haven't you seen today's news headline yet? Jiang Cheng paused and directly asked: I was on the plane earlier, go ahead, what's it about?
"You and Miss Xu Ying made the headlines, looks like you're acting rather intimate," the assistant said awkwardly.
I'm good friends with her, acting a bit close shouldn't be an issue. But even so, why is everyone acting so strangely outside? Jiang Cheng asked.
We all thought you and Mengmeng were a couple, both being computer geniuses; it's a match made in heaven." Linda replied.
Jiang Cheng was very relieved he wasn't drinking water, otherwise he would have been shocked by the assistant's remarks.
Jiang Cheng was momentarily stunned hearing Linda's words, he found them somewhat amusing.
