At the entrance of the bathhouse, everything was ready. Two burly men in their thirties, with bare backs, were wrapped in towels, prepared to soak in the hot spring.
Strictly speaking, there wasn't a hot spring beneath Laine's Duke's Castle, but the Dwarf's craftsmanship and tunnel technology were indeed impressive. Even without a hot spring, they managed it with steam technology and mine techniques.
Apparently, it was because Surya heard that soaking in a hot spring is beneficial for health, so she requested it. At the time, Laine was out campaigning, and all matters, big and small, were left to Surya's discretion. Naturally, the hot spring got built.
A golden basin was placed at the entrance, with water flowing out from a beautifully crafted Dwarf faucet, and the sound of gushing water filled the bathhouse entrance.
