As death loomed, she had decided to leave grievances in the Third Epoch of a thousand years ago, but this didn't mean she would forget the immense disaster the Red King's army of flesh brought upon the world.
People were trapped in the cities, beyond them were creations of flesh made from corpses. Yet, people were powerless to stop the spreading plague, watching those familiar gradually succumb, their bodies thinning, skin turning bloodless pale. Days later, the infected would start coughing blood and ultimately die in agonizing struggle.
Corpses would mutate that very night, rising from their coffins with twisted forms, devoid of memory and consciousness, attacking anyone near them, even their relatives. Thus, in the early stages of the plague, city leaders decreed that any infected be immediately sent to quarantine zones outside the city.
