Claude tried his hardest not to fib or grow defensive. The adviser was only asking somewhat relevant questions. After all, Claude had just gotten an executive position in the Council. The student just felt weird looking at the new teacher.
"Fortune 100 companies, then." Gregor chuckled and tapped the table. "How about you, Mr Dietrich? I heard your mother donates a lot to the school and to your fraternity. Is that why you're sticking to the SCB even if you're, uhm, suspended due to disciplinary actions?"
"I don't appreciate the sudden interview, doctor." Len tried his best to talk normally, despite the stone-like material in his mouth. "Not when I'm unwell."
The teacher waved his hands. "Sorry, sorry. I'll just ask some other time. I don't mean to overstep boundaries. Asking direct questions helps me know you guys faster. I hope you don't mind me doing this."
