Again… Bob frowned as he awoke. He had tried a few more times, slowly improving his proficiency with the 'Shimmer', the disc or halo of light in the RLSSD #3.
The good news was that his [Deep Dive] Ability Level was naturally increasing as he used it - and had most recently gone from Level 6-7, but the bad news was that it seemed there was still a limit to how long he could spend in the 'depths' of the Subconscious, before getting caught up and swept away by the 'current'…
"Life is better connected - with everything ✨…?"
He had tried 'mentally connecting' to the beautiful, surreal landscape and surroundings, but nothing much of note had happened.
That said. An interesting phenomenon had occurred.
When he was adjusting the 'Shimmer', at times, there were certain times when he felt… a certain 'something'… like he had somehow stumbled upon, or tapped into the perfect frequency, like a kind of friction becoming suddenly smooth, or a resistance that suddenly gave way to a strange… absence of any opposition whatsoever.
At the same time, he still felt that, even accounting for the above sensation of… nothingness, something was still missing…
Was this related to the sudden waterfall-like 'drop'?
What lay beyond the 'end of the world' in the RLSSD #3?
It was so close, yet so far. After trying multiple times again and again, it seemed... possible, and yet impossible, and even so, a part of him still really wanted to know what lay beyond…!!!
Once. On one of his later attempts, Bob even felt he might have seen a glimpse of *something*… in the unknown…
An impression. A sensation of something beyond a human's comprehension of scale, immense, and ancient before the White…
But perhaps he was imagining it…
Hm. Clearly Author had somehow stumbled upon something good - or at least deliciously interesting… -and so, Bob knew there was a chance that he might milk it, meaning there was a chance that it was going to take some time to solve this latest mystery… 🫢✨
In that case, as much as he enjoyed - as usual, literally - gaming his sleep, he figured that he may as well continue to level up his Rizz and various other Abilities and continue working hard on taking active steps to achieve his main plan of World Domination in the meantime… ✨
