Chapter 9 - Two Abominations and The Truth

"After 216 years, the abominations or ship manifestations went into hiding in an area known as Iron Bottom Sound. Their wrath and vengeance bring ruin and destruction across Karkenta while humanity and their companions struggle to fight them, as they were the ones who brought them into this world. The sea was run with fire and blood of the countless who were destroyed and slaughtered." :(???)

"This was a time of great suffering and despair as the members of the Axis Dictatorship Collective, United Communist Commune and the Democratic Federation, which were opposites in ideology and reason, had drowned in each other's blood and fire, already weakened by their hubris and pride. They were forced to set aside their differences to focus on the singular threat of their own making." :(???)

"The Great Abomination War started with the trial of the Arch Traitor Midway by the Council of the Democratic Federation. Was she the first one to see through the lies and false promises of the greater good of the Democratic Federation? She, along with her companions, rebelled and called themselves the Vengeful Reapers, bringing terror and destruction across Karkenta, destroying countless warships, civilian and cities with their fury and might." :(???)

"It took 216 years for The Great Abomination War to conclude with the defeat and withdrawal of the Vengeful Reapers from the world oceans to the area named Iron Bottom Sound deep into the wilderness and unknown region of Karkenta. They say they were gone, but that was far from the truth; they were never defeated or destroyed. During those years, the factions were brought to their knees and almost destroyed by the abominations they call only by a miracle. As the abominations suffered a catastrophic defeat at the hands of a single alone mysterious figure. Was it one of their own or someone else entirely? The question remains mysterious for us all." :(???)

"May the lord protect us, as we have to fear the unknown unless we want to repeat what has already occurred to bring a single final disaster to us. The reapers have not forgotten their defeat and might come back to finish the job they already started." :(???)

Helen spent the rest of the journey from the abyssal depths to Coral Harbour in a stressed state; she felt she had actually caused a butterfly effect, as her actions would have unseemly consequences and events further on. She personally wants to be anonymous, but reality hit hard and shattered her view. She watched as the aircrew on her ship had celebrated their victory against an impossible enemy just after an attack from the Axis Dictatorship Collective struck their harbour. It wasn't a victory for Helen, but unwanted attention she wants to avoid, as her status as an abomination would conflict with her not having very good feelings about the arch traitors, and she doesn't want to see them in any form. Helen spent the day in Coral Harbour confined to her ship's bridge while talking with Noah, her companion AI, about things that troubled her.

"Understand what is troubling you, Helen, but you must push those thoughts aside. I noticed you are quite stubborn when being told to do something or holding onto something. You might get some rest now, ever since your ship ran out of fuel, which resulted in the diesel generators activating to keep the ship powered. During that time, your ship was founded 55 days later by a cruiser squadron along with destroyers. I am guessing you might have cleared the shame and disgrace from you, but you might be seen with distrust." :(Hologram of Noah stated with clear and descrpitve tone as Noah was reading through a report that he some how grabbed out of thin air)

"Noah, what is Helen stressed about? She seems unresponsive and untalkative from the journey back to Coral Harbour." :(Allen Mills asked in serious about wary tone as his eyes was not leaving the view of Helen)

"Helen is just cautious at the moment as she feels she has caused a butterfly effect, which means anything she does or plans to do will cause other event which would spiral out of control. I am not surprised about it, as it's clearly reasonable if you study deeper into the root cause of the problem. I heavily recommend that she needs time to rest as she has been active for months after she arrived in this world." :(Hologram of Noah stated with clear descrptive and knowning tone as the hologram looked at Allen Mills)

"I clearly understand her problems; she might be exhausted after the journey to the abyssal depths to engage in battle along two other Aircraft Carriers, plus she had to deal with an invasion fleet 55 days before her discovery by the Atlantean Navy. She must be clearly exhausted after a lot of things being pressed against her all at once. Helen, you deserve a big rest as the war changed in our favour with the destruction of four Aircraft Carriers and the battleship Scarlet Wrath." :(Allen Mills stated in serious but caring tone as he turned towards the door to open it what was standing outside the door was very unexpected the commander of the fleet was standing outside the door)

"I heard that Spirit of Defiance AC-43 is unresponsive and untalkative during the journey back to Coral Harbour, which is entirely expected as abominations have minds and feelings like everyone else. She clearly needs rest like everyone else. If we read through the reports in which she was mentioned which is understandable. But there was some dire news: the office of Naval Intelligence had discovered a secret program only known as Kasen by the Axis Dictatorship Collective member, The Rising Sakura Petals." :(Oliver Perry stated in serious and wary tone as he barged into the bridge while Allen Mills were stunned to see his superior just waiting outside the door)

"What is the program named Kasen, as it doesn't sound like an ordinary program, as it must refer to something?" :(Allen Mills asked as he never heard the word Kasen in his life and quite confused, he looked back at Oliver Perry)

"I highly expect it has something to do with abomination development or a secret weapon, but all I can say is that nothing is guaranteed to be certain. By reading old data and records, abominations have clear advantages over traditional warships, first being that they don't require crew or air group for their daily needs, as they are manifestations of what they are. Second, they could be sent alone or with groups of other abominations to complete missions and conduct operations without risking the lives of precious sailors and aircrew. Third, they are hard to hit as they can act independently or by instinct to any danger before it reaches them." :(Oliver Perry stated in clear and descrptive tone as he describ from memory from the reports he might had read)

"Due to these advantages, I see it highly reasonable to simply leave the beasts and aircraft without pilots and no crew on board Spirit of Defiance AC-43. Noah told us that Spirit of Defiance AC-43 can use them without issue. Sorry, being off topic, I was notified that the Atlantean Navy is pouring resources into a counter program to Kasen if the rumours of the secret program were manifesting from the Office of Naval Intelligence." :(Oliver Perry said to Allen Mills in clear and cautcious tone as he turned to face Helen)

"You may have cleared the disgrace and shame on abominations this day, but let's make it clear, your purpose is determined by what you do, and everything is impacted by it in all respects. I hope you can recover shortly, as you might be needed for another operation, which would be months away. Spirit of Defiance AC-43, make no mistake, as everyone is watching you with distrust and concern at the same time." :(Oliver Perry stated in cautcious and descrptive tone before walking the way he came from)

"I want Spirit of Defiance AC-43 to meet the two Aircraft Carriers she just sailed with earlier. By a miracle, someone managed to discover two ritual cubes related to abomination summoning or making of them in an old, unoccupied warehouse. I have no clue why they were there without detection, but I diverted both cubes to the Aircraft Carriers Constitution AC-3 and the Righteous Liberality AC-4. Why I did it remains classified, but at least Spirit of Defiance AC-43 has friends to chat and company with her on future operations." :(Oliver Perry stated while looking back at Helen for brief second before he closed the door entirely)

"Is he out of his mind? Not only did he bring an abomination into the Republic Atlantean Navy, but he turned the last two Aircraft Carriers into abominations also. I am guessing these are desperate times to do such a risky endeavour. I bet the president of the United Republics of Atlantia wouldn't approve of this endeavour." :(Allen Mills muttered to himself in disblief as he didn't realise what his superior had done)

"I hope you have a nice chat and time with those two now abominations, as there's no turning back now. I will be on the bridge with Noah, as I don't know what caused the Commander of the Fleet to suddenly change their stance on abominations. I highly expected it was you, Helen." :(Allen Mills muttered as he looked quite concerned and unknowning for sure as he never expected his superior to do something reckless just after a battle)

"I am speechless, like you, Captain Mills, as I didn't do anything to change your superior's heart, as he was ruthless against me. He probably knew it was the right time to do something reckless after a victorious ambush." :(Helen replied as she walked to the door and opended it and walked out the bridge before closing the door)

*It took a while for Helen to walk all the way out of her ship's Island, onto solid ground in the form of concrete. She knew she wasn't the best when it came to talking to people, but it had to be done. She walked around a bit only to see two people waiting for her, and they were told to wait in that particular spot out of nowhere. One of the individuals was a female who had bright red eyes with a blue middle tint, as well as blond hair and was dressed up with a large amount of skin being exposed with only a blue bikini and shorts, plus two black high sock leggings. While the other had blue eyes and short blond hair, wearing a black shirt and shorts with two black high sock leggings.*

"Oh, look who it is, the hero who sailed with us. Quite an impressive thing you did back at point vengeance despite being a noobie in all respects. If you don't know us, I am RANS Constitution AC-3. This is my sister RANS Righteous Liberality AC-4. I could never imagine being a human for the very first time in our lives." :(The bye eyed girl stated and introduced herself as RANS Constitution AC-3 while walking up to Helen more likely to investigate her)

"Lucky she was the one who got spotted by the enemy, which allowed us to strike unposed and hard like a sledgehammer. I wonder why the commander of the fleet has a sudden change of heart to turn us both into humans for the first time in 216 years. Your ship looks so familiar to the 2 arch traitors. Isn't that ironic that we were only saved by a sibling of an arch traitor? What next are you going to bring destruction and despair as they did?" :(Righteous Liberality spoke in a wary tone as she looked at Helen's ship in the distance)

[Great Righteous Liberality is assuming I am a traitor also, which I am not. I haven't betrayed anyone, and I could feel her distrust through the air itself.] :(Helen thought to herself as she listen carefully as she noticed that Righteous Liberality has some what a distrust)

"You are really cautious, aren't you, sister, even though we had no behaviour or emotions before our transformation into humans. I must apologise for her sudden accusation of you being linked to the arch traitors, but we can't deny the fact that your ship is an exact match with the two arch traitors' ships." :(Constitution muttered and quickly apologiezed to Helen for her sister's word which sounded hurtful but to Helen it was other tuesday as there no denying the fact she is related to the arch traitor's)

"Sorry for the quick interruption, but I must return to my ship as I concluded this chat is over." :(Helen muttered as she dashed off the way she came towards her ship)

"Jeez, not an talker huh, I had high hopes, but now I'm feeling disappointment." :(Righteous Liberality muttered as she was surpised that Helen of all people decided to end chat early and thundered off to her ship)

"I'm guessing she needs time to herself, as I heard that she is really not talkative or responsive in such a way, which makes us quite disappointed. At least she did something that was requested, even if it was short." :(Consitituion commeted with same disapointed tone as her sister but in way she wasn't judging and faced her sister and singaled her to follow her)

"She is so secretive that she didn't say a single word, only for departure. What is she hiding from everyone, as it's concerning to our fragile minds?" :(Righteous Liberality muttered as she followed her sister Consitituion still eying on Helen)

"Only time will tell." :(Consitituion replied with honest but somewhat acuracte tone)

As Helen walked towards her ship, she entered it through a stairway from the dockside into the ship. She decided to have time to herself, which would be critical in such a state she is in. She followed the path towards her quarters, which was a new compartment inside the ship instead of her normal quarters, which were the captain's cabin. Once she opened the door, she found someone was waiting for her. After squinting for a moment, she instantly recognised it was the same ghostly figure she had encountered a few times before. What was strange was that she was sitting on a bed sheet facing directly towards her. Was this a type of joke or a dream? Who knows what it was?

"Great, it's you again. What do you want? I have no time searching for answers in riddles which take months to decipher." :(Helen said in serious and tiring tone as she was quite fed up with riddles and puzzels of The Ghostly Figure known to do)

"What do I want? This can be simply answered as nothing, but I'm here to warn you about something. As you could see, you had dug the situation you are in and only required a small amount of force to throw you into that hole. Do you truly believe you are doing the right thing, as there is no right and wrong in the conflict in which you have taken part?" :(The Ghostly Figure said in mocking and catulcating tone as it stared back at Helen)

"Speak more clearly, I don't have time to decipher your riddles, you're always giving me." :(Helen demanded with serious and annoyed tone as she walked up to The Ghostly Figure)

"Oh my, not able to handle the complexity of the situation of your own doing, what a shame. What you caused was a butterfly effect; now the Axis Dictatorship Collective is aware of you as an abomination and is quickly diverting resources into a counter. Which created the other event of those two aircraft carriers you sailed with to be abominations, how heartbreaking. But I must warn you, my siblings and yours are now aware of your existence as well, despite their defeat at my hands." :(The Ghostly Figure said in calm and serious tone as it revealed more itself for Helen see)

"Wait, are you actually me? That isn't possible, I haven't died in a sort of way. Who are you really?" :(Helen muttered in quick shock but changed quickly turned serious as she stared at what seem to be ghostly clone of her)

"You are so naive to suggest a complete denial of what the truth is in front of you. You and I are the same, but one is dead while the other is clueless about how unique the situation is. You are only here because your ship was destroyed in another dimension, while mine was also destroyed in the same way, but I also died in this world as well, which explains why I am a ghost. They often say that if an abomination gets their ship destroyed, they are immediately killed and sent back to The Anvil of War, where you and I come from after completing their duties." :(The Ghostly Figure stated in serious tone as she stared back at Helen expecting she wouldn't understand a single word)

"What is the Anvil of War? I never heard a single word of it and stopped speaking in riddles." :(Helen said in annoyed tone as she recived a riddle which she doesn't want to hear and was clueless)

"Oh, daring are we? The Anvil of War is a branch of the Throne of Creation, which is a promidoal thing in the cosmos, far out of our reach. Everything that was made solely for war from the oceans, the land, the sky and the cosmos always has its data and consciousness stored in The Anvil of War, which could be any weapon or a warship like us from across eons or centuries of existence of the universe. Their purpose was to serve those who summoned them from the Anvil of War; when their task was done, they would be called back to the Anvil of War. That's where you are an anomaly, as you were not summoned from the Anvil of War, or where were you?" :(The Ghostly Figure spoke with serious and cold tone as she looked at Helen somewhat irriated that Helen doesn't even know the Anvil of War where she actually form)

"The Anvil of War is not known to summon things out of normal practice, but in times of war and despair, warships, weapons and equipment were automatically summoned without a ritual taking place to fight in the conflict. You might be summoned as a direct response to the ongoing war between the Axis Dictatorship Collective and the Democratic Federation. Your traitorous big sisters and I were summoned by a ritual in times of peace 220 years ago. That's all I can say as my time is precious. I hope you figure it out soon." :(The Ghostly Figure said in serious tone as she despaired in a sparkle of dust)
