"It really is just a heart!"
Akane looked at the heart left behind by the Vampire Ancestor, a thoughtful expression on her face.
Her gaze kept moving back and forth over the heart.
Seeing an actual organ laid out before her like this was a rare experience, making her examine it a bit longer.
"But how do we resurrect her then?"
Akane turned her gaze to Mary.
As the Vampire Ancestor's right hand, she must know the conditions for resurrecting her Master, right?
Unfortunately, Mary shook her head.
"That dagger piercing Lady Elisabeth's heart is meant to sever her vitality."
"In theory, simply pulling it out should restore her."
Mary's brows were slightly knitted together, her gaze somewhat sorrowful as she stared at the heart of her former Master.
"But unfortunately, when Lady Elisabeth sealed herself, it was with the intention of sleeping forever."
"So the condition for resurrection isn't just removing the dagger."
"I see..."
After hearing this, Akane nodded gently.
"But it's okay. Mary may not know, but Yuki-kun definitely does!"
A slight smile touched Akane's lips as she looked at Yuki.
Though Mary didn't know why Akane was so confident, considering Yuki's previously displayed abilities, she vaguely felt Yuki could indeed accomplish it.
"Of course, it's possible."
Yuki gave a slight nod.
"Do you remember what that vampire said about the 'Red Moon Night'?"
"I do! Crimson said that a few years from now, on a certain night, that would be the day Lady Elisabeth resurrects."
Hearing this, Mary answered softly.
"Does that mean Lady Elisabeth can only be resurrected on that day?"
"Is it related to time?"
"No! It's not related to time."
Yuki shook his head, calmly replying to Mary.
"Actually, resurrecting her is simple. Pulling out the dagger is the first step."
"The second step is a large quantity of blood."
"Because before sealing herself, she had completely expended all her power. That's why those vampires haven't been able to resurrect her yet."
"They need time to collect enough blood to revive this Vampire Ancestor."
Yuki briefly explained the conditions for resurrecting the Vampire Ancestor.
Hearing this, Mary suddenly understood.
"But where would we find so much blood?"
"Would we really have to..."
Mary suddenly realized why those vampires had stolen her Master, brought her here, and set up this "challenge" to attract challengers to the tower.
Wasn't it to collect blood?!
If that was the case, to resurrect Elisabeth, wouldn't they have to do something similar—kill other humans and collect their blood?!
"Such a thing... Lady Elisabeth would never accept it!"
Mary shook her head. Knowing her Master's character, she would absolutely never sacrifice so many innocent human lives just to resurrect herself.
"You're overthinking it."
"How could I possibly do such a thing?"
Yuki shook his head helplessly, denying Mary's assumption.
"After all, the condition for her resurrection is simply drawing power from blood."
"So the key here isn't the blood itself, but the power."
"As long as I can replenish her power, whether it's through blood or any other form isn't important."
Yuki calmly explained to the two.
After hearing this, Akane and Mary thought for a moment, and suddenly things became much clearer.
"Ah!"
"I never thought of that."
Mary scratched her head sheepishly, softly replying.
Yuki smiled, then turned his gaze to the heart in the coffin.
He picked up the heart and pulled out the dagger from it.
Squelch—!
With a faint sound of flesh, the dagger smoothly came free from the heart.
The moment the dagger left the heart, the heart seemed to come alive, gently pulsing a few times.
"It... it moved?!"
Akane exclaimed in surprise.
Then the heart's pulsations became increasingly evident, clearly visible as it contracted and expanded.
But that was all. Due to the lack of power, the Vampire Ancestor hadn't fully resurrected.
Yuki then drew upon a minuscule fraction of his infinite power and infused it into the heart.
As a faint light entered the heart, it instantly erupted with a brilliant radiance.
Like an exquisite, multicolored piece of glass, it evoked an involuntary desire to admire it.
The glowing light persisted for about a minute. Gradually, the heart began to float.
Within the light, a humanoid form slowly took shape.
Finally, it fully materialized—a perfect body with skin like congealed fat, fair as jade, now presented before Yuki and the others.
Yuki briefly examined it and couldn't help but think:
'Truly worthy of being a Vampire Ancestor. The figure is excellent.'
After looking for a few more moments, Yuki noticed Akane squinting at him from the side.
Her gaze seemed to be asking if he had done this on purpose.
Yuki pretended not to notice, shifting his eyes away from Elisabeth.
Actually, Yuki had done it intentionally. He had many ways to resurrect Elisabeth, but he had ultimately chosen this method that followed the "process."
"Lady Elisabeth!"
Seeing her former Master resurrected, Mary called out excitedly. She was about to step forward when she suddenly remembered something.
She stopped, her expression tinged with worry.
"Huh?"
"What's wrong, Mary?"
Akane, noticing Mary's hesitation, was somewhat puzzled.
She looked at the super vampire ancestor girl floating in the air—with her vibrant red hair and a body like a work of art.
"When Lady Elisabeth is usually gentle, under certain conditions, she can also become extremely fierce!"
"This situation occurs when someone disturbs her slumber!!!"
"It's known as Lady Elisabeth's super bad temper upon waking!!!"
A flicker of fear passed through Mary's eyes as she looked at her Master floating above.
"Huh?"
Hearing Mary's words, a bewildered expression appeared on Akane's face.
Wow! The Vampire Ancestor has a bad temper when waking up?
Could her "wake-up temper" involve killing people?!
Just as this thought flashed through Akane's mind, Elisabeth over there lazily opened her eyes.
She let out an angry roar, and instantly, a crimson river of blood formed around her body.
Then, indiscriminately, it spread outward.
The blood transformed into blades, piercing straight through the surrounding walls.
"Oh no!"
Mary exclaimed in alarm, quickly drawing her sword to try and block the indiscriminate blood blades.
But at that moment, Yuki lightly raised a hand. The blood blades instantly disintegrated, reverting to a liquid state.
Having effortlessly neutralized the attack, Elisabeth, floating mid-air, seemed to let out a frustrated roar.
She gathered all the blood again, forming a massive blood sword, and directly slashed it toward Yuki.
Looking at this grumpy Vampire Ancestor, Yuki gave her a displeased glare.
"You're pushing your luck!"
In a flash, he teleported right behind Elisabeth.
Before she could react, Yuki wrapped an arm around her, raised his other hand, and delivered a sharp slap to the Ancestor's ass.
Slap—!!!
With a crisp slapping sound, the massive blood sword instantly dissolved.
Elisabeth's eyes widened, her face filled with disbelief.
But that wasn't all. Yuki continued, catching her and administering a through "education."
