Next Morning, Saturday.
The sun gradually came up, the lights pushed into the window of Ryu's living room and fell on the two youngsters sleeping on the couch.
Ryu's eyes fluttered, before he slowly opened his eyes, he was about to get up but he felt a weight on his chest.
Looking down he saw Akeno peacefully sleeping, with no sign of waking up.
Ryu blushed for a bit, before he stopped moving altogether to not wake her up.
Still, glancing down at Akeno, Ryu's heartbeat sped up just a tiny bit.
Akeno's beautiful features, her long black hair her lashes all of it was engraved into his mind.
Unconsciously, Ryu put his hand over her back, and hugged her a bit closer.
Before he realised what he did, Akeno's eyelids trembled a bit, before she slowly opened her beautiful violet eyes.
She turned her head and faced Ryu from below, it was silent for a bit, creating a very awkward atmosphere.
"...Good morning sleeping beauty, how did you sleep?" Ryu asked with a very nervous smile.
Akeno's face slowly went as red as a tomato, then she buried her face in his chest again trying to hide her embarrassment.
"...Good." Her voice was muffled but Ryu still heard her.
"That's great, turns out your Hubby is a pretty good pillow as well huh?" Ryu said, but he didn't get an answer.
"Hey Ake- DID YOU JUST BITE ME?!" Ryu hissed before he yelled out in pain. Akeno bit him on his chest.
Akeno looked up at him, an evil smirk plastered on her face, "That's what you get." She then started getting up.
"I can't let that slide now can I?" Ryu said mischievously, before swiftly wrapping his arms around Akeno and hugging her very tightly.
Akeno immediately started tapping out, "H-Hey! C-Can't breathe!" her voice came out muffled.
Ryu pretended not to hear it "Huh? What was that? I couldn't hear you, speak up."
"Oh you're asking for another one now!" Akeno said, biting him again, this time on his arm.-
"C-C-Can't feel it at all!" Ryu said his voice going high.
Akeno bit harder.
"OUCH!!! FINE FINE YOU WIN!" Ryu released her immediately rubbing his arm, Akeno took a deep breath before giggling.
"It's not that funny." Ryu said looking down at his arm, and finding a bite mark.
"It's a little funny." Akeno said in between giggles, now sitting on Ryu's stomach. "Jesting aside, sorry for this I don't know what came over me, I fell asleep out of nowhere."
"Don't stress it, the same happened to me." Ryu said, lookin up at her still sitting on him, "At least you slept well, right?"
"...Maybe a little too well." Akeno said, looking at Ryu's face and then her eyes trailed down to his chest, she then reached with her hand and touched him.
"..." Ryu was left speechless at her actions.
"It's... enormous and also comfortable to sleep on..." Akeno said, she then glanced at Ryu's face.
"What?"
"Can I sleep with you more often? Believe me, this is much more comfortable than any pillow I've had." Akeno said, "Please? Hubby?"
Who'd say no to that? Certainly not Ryu. "I-I've no problem at all, do as you wish." He said, stuttering a teeny bit.
"Yay! Thanks, you're the best." Akeno hugged him and kissed him on the cheek, before getting off of him and rushing to the bathroom.
Ryu lay there wide-eyed for a second, he then rubbed his cheek the place where Akeno kissed him, and smiled.
"...I think I just got wooed." Ryu muttered to himself, then got up.
He was about to head to the kitchen before his phone rang, it was on the table.
He picked it up and saw that the caller was 'Rias Gremory.' He answered the call.
"Morning Ryu! I can't reach Akeno, seems like her phone's dead..." She paused for dramatic effect, "Is she with you perhaps?" she asked that last bit slyly.
Ryu let out a sigh, "Yes, she's with me. She's currently in the bathroom, I'll let her know that you called."
"Ohohoho~ Did you guys have 'Fun'... Last night?"
"Yes, we watched a lot of movies, and fell asleep on the sofa."
"Is that all you guys did?"
"Yes."
"Awww, how disappointing."
"...See you later, Rias."
"Wai-" Ryu didn't wait.

In the bathroom, Akeno was pacing around, blushing extremely hard, while leaning on the wall.
She murmured incoherent words, probably before she gradually began calming down, by taking deep breaths.
"Fuu... I'm calm. Akeno, you're calm. The definition of Calm."
She then looked around the bathroom, she's never been in here before.
It had a bathtub, a shower, standard things, but what really caught her interest was the singular bottle that was on the sink
She picked it up, and it read, '4 in 1! Shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash, toothpaste.'
"...Right, I forgot... he's a man." She muttered, turning the water on and splashing it on her face.
She then took a deep breath and got out.
And the smell of food directly hit her nose, sounds came from the kitchen.
She went in.
"What're you making?" Akeno asked going up to the kitchen counter.
"Rice, fruit salad, and eggs. Easy to digest, and perfect to start our day."
"'Our day' Huh~" Akeno smirked.
"Yeah. OUR day." Ryu confirmed glancing at her with the same smirk.
"Getting bolder by the day, aren't you?"
"Do you dislike it?"
"...No, not at all."
Ryu chuckled and said nothing more, he took out the plates and finished setting the table.
"Let's eat, then decide what to do, it's Saturday after all." Ryu said, pulling the chair out for Akeno to sit.
"Do let's, Thank you for the meal."
He sat down in front of her, and the two quickly ate while making small talk and joking around here and there.
"Oh, by the way Rias called me just now." Ryu said
"Oh! What did she want?" Akeno asked.
"I don't know, she was asking for you." Ryu took out his phone and gave it to her.
"Your phone is dead, use mine."
"Thanks Ryu."
Akeno dialed Rias's number and after a couple rings it went in.
"Rias? It's me." Akeno said, then went silent for a second, her face turning serious. "Today? Alright, I'll be there soon."
Akeno hung up the phone and returned it to Ryu.
"Sorry Ryu, I have to go. Rias needs my help with... something important, we'll let everyone know tomorrow."
"Sure, if you need my help with anything you know where to find me."
"Thanks Ryu, I'll let you know if we need your help."
With that Akeno put her plate in the sink, and teleported away.
Ryu let out a sigh, he was slightly disappointed that he didn't spend much time with her.
"But... there's something that's been bothering me, for quite a while now.
Ryu went into the bathroom, stood in front of the mirror, got close to it and opened his mouth.
The other day in the familiar forest, he got his canine tooth knocked out by the Gorilla... however he was looking at the newly grown canine tooth.
It was much bigger than a humans, much longer, and looked much sharper.
The thing is, this morning he noticed that some of his teeth were also becoming more and more loose, and in the back of his mouth, more teeth were also growing.
"This can't be normal..." Ryu muttered to himself.
"I'll have to call my uncle and ask..." Ryu muttered.
Ryu went back to the kitchen grabbed his phone and dialed a number.
After a few rings the person on the other side picked up.
"Ryu! Good morning, how're you doing?" his uncle asked.
"Hello uncle, I'm doing well today, what about you?"
"Oh y'know, same old, same old, just chilling in the office, reading ero magazines and stuffs."
"Y'know the internet exists right?"
"BAH! I'm more old school, I prefer it like this."
"...Ah right, you're like... as old as creation and all that, must be that much more difficult for you to adapt to modern technology huh?"
"Cheeky punk, why I oughta smack the beard off of your face." Ryu's uncle let out a sigh, and continued "So? What's up? You don't call for no reason."
"There's... some things I need to talk to you about."
"I'm all ears, tell me anything."
"That 'Human Body's Threshold' Theory... it's true, I just broke the 'Endurance Threshold."
"Oh? That's... fucking amazing. How do you feel? Tell me everything."
"Like a Living Fortress, I can feel my entire body, muscles, bone and everything is definitely much more durable."
"Hmm... So what 'He' told me wasn't just bullshit huh..." His uncle muttered to himself.
"What do you mean?" Ryu asked, "Didn't you come up with this?"
"As much as I hate to admit it, no." His uncle sighed, "Remember when I was searching around the world? Trying to find out ways to help you get stronger? Yeah well, In Korea I discovered this one tattooed guy with weird eyes, he was freakishly strong without being a part of our world, hell he was unaware of it! I got the information out of him."
"I see... I understand..." Ryu trailed off, "There's... another thing."
"What's up?"
"I got my tooth knocked out the other day, when I broke through and got 'Endurance' and... it grew back. It's literally a fang and I can feel it in the back of my mouth, more teeth are growing out of nowhere."
"That is...interesting." Azazel said, "Are you feeling any discomfort? Pain? Anything?"
"No, nothing at all."
"Hmmm... you might not be entirely human."
"What the heck does that mean?"
"It's rare, but sometimes a hybrid starts showing signs of being hybrids in their adolescence, that might be what's happening to you right now. C'mon Ryu, you noticed it yourself haven't you? Your abnormal rate of growth, your abnormally high ceiling in physical attributes, heck even your size!"
"But you said-"
"I said I didn't know exactly what you were, I had my suspicions and when you grew up and didn't seem to stop growing, I figured you'd be some kind of Hybrid, a giant or werewolf or something perhaps. You're neither of those though."
"I see. How far can this... progress? Will I start growing additional limbs? A tail? Wings perhaps?"
"I don't know, we'll have to wait and see. What I can definitely tell you, is that you're not in any danger so don't loose sleep over it."
"...Thanks uncle, love you. Say hi to dad for me."
"Love you too Ryu... and sure, I'll say hi to him for you."
Ryu hung up the phone and let out a sigh before looking out of the window.
"A hybrid huh..." he muttered looking down at his hands.
"I hope I'm not part Chihuahua or something..."
"That would suck."
