"Sylvia, what on earth is this? Why did you take all the valuable materials out of the warehouse?" A middle-aged woman gasped for breath as she pointed angrily at Sylvia.
Sylvia, holding the list of items Nolan had requested, glanced at her indifferently without a hint of fear.
"I need them. Is that a problem?"
"You…" The woman grew even angrier and snapped, "You can't just do that! Do you have any idea how valuable those materials are?"
"I know," Sylvia replied calmly. "And I need them."
That same response only made the woman's breathing grow even more labored. Her hand, pointing at Sylvia, trembled violently.
"That reason is unacceptable! Return all those materials to the storage room! Otherwise, I'll report you to the other Great Sages!" she threatened.
However, Sylvia didn't flinch in the slightest. The woman standing before her was one of the Great Sages—the Great Sage of Arcana.
