"All right, Nolan. Your mother and I have to go home and take care of some work."
Arden stood up and glanced at his watch.
Mey stood up as well, while Alice seemed reluctant to leave.
She sat on Nolan's lap, her gaze never leaving him.
"Big brother, can I come see you again later?"
Nolan smiled and gently pinched her cheek.
"Of course. Ask the driver or one of the servants to bring you here. I'll play with you."
Alice's eyes sparkled with joy at his answer.
"Mhmm! Thank you, Big Brother!"
Arden and Mey exchanged glances and smiled helplessly. Nolan and Alice had only met a few hours ago, yet they were already so close.
Still, they were thrilled. They had been worried that Nolan might reject Alice, especially since they had prepared her as a backup heir in case Nolan never woke up from his coma.
After exchanging a few more words, Arden, Mey, and Alice left the hospital room.
Only Nolan and Seira remained.
