Keveelsky heard the story and felt that it did not make sense, so he asked, "You said she died thirty minutes after delivery, how did she manage to write you a letter and a signature?" He then pointed to the letter and said, " The name's handwriting and the contents of the letter have different handwriting." "Of course, these are not her handwriting, but the name and signature are hers," chided Mr Lorenti. " So I thought she said the words and somebody else wrote them for her."
Keveelsky thought for a minute and asked, " This letter was written a few minutes before delivery. How did a woman in labor pains, and with twins, have the strength to even speak out the words? These are clearly written without her consent, but she signed the signature minutes after delivery, before she passed out. She thought she was signing her babies' birth notification. Clearly, somebody manipulated everything, and she must have known the two of you, or rather, she was in love with you and was the one who stole the boy."
Kevelsky was a businessman, and he understood the schemes of the world, so analyzing everything was a piece of cake for him. He continued, "She faked everything and placed the baby at your doorstep hoping that you would look for a caregiver, then the moment will be ripe for her to step in and present yourself, seduce you through the baby and be your woman. The question is, did you look for a caregiver?" Mr Lorenti said, "No, my sister offered to nurse the baby so i didn't look for one."
His answer enlightened Kevelsky further so he said, " So you escaped her clutches. Just look for the nurses who were on duty that day or... before he finished, the door was pushed from the outside and Havila came in with her laptop. She glanced at Mr Lorenti and joked, "HI sweet daddy." She already drown on her sorrows in the pantry and was back to normal. She said, " Sorry about your files, and there is no tea, i didn't have enough time to brew."
Mr Lorenti heaved a sigh of relief and smiled back at her. He was happy that his daughter recognized him. Havila did not wait for the mush stuff and put the laptop in their middle. There was ongoing call in one of the dialogue box and to his surprise, it was his son Stanly. The other dialogue box were information about the nurse. Havila was explaining as Stanly was showing pictures through on-desk. Mr Lorenti noticed their chemistry and said matter of factually, "So you two know each other, you are twin siblings as you already know."
It was Stanly who said, "Save that for later" Hvaila then pointed at a picture and asked, "Do you know this woman?" Mr Lorenti looked at the picture and said no then changed his statement immediately, " But we bumped at each other at the airport today. I never met her before. Then a picture of a young girl popped and he was asked the same question and he said, "I met this lady ages ago, it's two decades now at one of the parties and we even talked. Then i used to see her everywhere i go but i never talked to her again."
Havila and Stanly shared a wink and said in unison, " This is the younger her, and she also worked at the hospital where mom worked and to make things interesting, she was the attending nurse that day. After the child was born, she said she had an emergency and switched places with the head nurse then she disappeared and only came back later." Mr Lorenti just like his children had a high IQ so he caught on fast and asked, "Are you saying she is the one who stole Stanly from your mother and brought him to me?"
Keveelsky also was awed by the siblings chemistry so she asked, "But why, why didn't she take Havila too? I f she did, she would have been noticed. Clearly she was your stalker and after bringing you the child, she hovered everywhere near you to get an opportunity which she never got so she later moved on and got married." Mr Lorenti looked at Havila and asked, "What about your mother's family?" Havila shook her head and said, "I talked to mu uncle, they didn't know anything. They were called and informed about my birth and her death at the same time."
She continued, "They then took me home and prepared for mom's funeral. They never knew about Stanly." Havila then said, "Wait a minute! I know this woman, she is Tamar's mother right? I think she still stalked me and prevented our chances of meeting. I'm beginning to suspect she is also the one that put Tamar to that act of savior. She took her revenge on me and never gave me the chance to meet my dad. My uncle didn't know anything and that's how her schemes were covered for over two decades."
She then looked at the screen and said, "Bro, take your flight immediately and come over here to interrogate this woman about man." Stanly on the other side focused the camera on the terminal and said, " I'm already at the airport. I knew you would request about this. See you in the evening." Then he ended the video call. Havila took the laptop and and went out. Mr Lorenti looked at her back blankly. Kevelsky consoled him and said, "Give her some time. She is not used to having a father and she suddenly have one. She will come through as she is one who knows to differentiate right and wrong."
He then stood up and took the car keys and said, "I think the business part will have to wait, right now, let's go home and wait for my brother in law." Mr lorenti followed him out and they boarded the car. Mr Lorenti was in the front passenger seat while Havila and Kevelsky were at the back. She leaned on his shoulders and closed her eyes as she was wondering the kind of injustices that happened to her her mother for her to die of depression.
