Soft moonlight cast a pale glow on Elavein spreading a peaceful aura of calm and serenity .
Yet beneath that calm lay something sinister.
Under a large garden world energy churned violently as a black haired human boy and a golden haired elven beauty clashed with fifteen abominable creatures .
The chamber trembled.
Dark energy pulsed through the lab beneath the academy as the creatures grew stronger with each breath .
Leo clashed repeatedly with a large beast kin covered in thick dark fur and bulging muscles.
Their clashes sent shock waves through the chamber breaking parts of it.
After dodging a punch from the corrupted beast kin Leo delivers a spinning kick to the side of its head sending it back , running forward he aims a killing blow at is face but is stopped by two other corrupted elves .
Behind him Evangeline faced the same problem.
Golden light pierced the chest of a corrpted human but again more corrupted elves stopped her from finishing it off .
" Leo we need to get out of here .. now " Evangeline called out while dodging attacks from corrupted elves .
" I know "
" I have an idea but I need you to hold them all off "
" Tsk ... Fine "
The chamber started hearing up rapidly as purple flames burst from Leo's body the heat so intense it warped the air .
As the flames met the chaos energy both exploded in violent surges of destructive force .
The fifteen corrupted beings and Roland all turned towards Leo .
" What are you ..? " Roland muttered
Smiling softly Leo answers.
" Me.. I'm just a human "
Bursting forward Leo slams his fist into a corrupted beastkin's chest completely caving it in and launching it backwards .
Immediately the other corrupted beings rush towards him .
Not caring about the collapsing structure around him Leo meets them mid charge exchanging multiple blows in a single heart beat .
Behind the intense clash Roland watched silently ready to strike when Leo showed any sign of an opening , his gaze traveled to Evangeline on the other side gathering mass amounts of world energy.
' I have to stop her ' .
Immediately the thought registered in his mind he moved but after barely a step a flaming blast of energy struck him sending him back .
" No .. No you stay right there ..I'm saving you for last ." Leo says cooly while weaving through different attacks .
" You damn human " .
"Leo I'm ready ".
Form behind Evangeline said , golden light folding around her figure .
"Detonate"
Immediately all the energy round her figure exploded outwards like a supernova consuming everything in a flash of golden light .
After a few seconds Leo regained his sight only to find himself back in the large garden, the large tree at the center completely erased .
To his side is Evangeline knelt on the ground gasping softly .
"Are you ok ?"
" Yeah ... I'm... Fine just need a ... Minute ."
Across from them stood Roland his calm expression now twisted into mad rage .
"What have you done ? ..
My precious research ...
I'll kill you both "
In his hand appears a ball shaped artifact , sending his world energy into it a barrier round the garden is formed sealing escape yet to the outside world the garden remained the same .
" Kill them .. right. NOW !" Roland roared to the corrupted beings around him while also releasing his aura .
" Can you fight ?"
" Of course.. I'll put them out of their misery "
Both release the full power of their cultivation. Leo's burning in purple and blue shades while Evangeline's golden like the sun.

Skyscrapers made of reflective glass like materials reaching towards the clouds stood like majestic towers while casting soft lights unto the streets below .
This was one of the crown jewels of the Aurora continent under the frost sovereign , Emerald city .
In the midsth of the majestic city two young men strode calmly through packed streets , long trench coats covering most of their features .
Both walked away from the heavy traffic of different races and unto quieter allies till they were completely alone in a quiet and dark alley .
" I was wondering when you guys wod make a move " . one of the cloaked figures said his voice full of energy and battle intent .
Behind them multiple shadows appeared each brandishing a weapon while the one In the center held a spherical artifact in his hand .
" An isolation barrier .... hmm " the second claimed figure said his voice egded with a sharp coldness .
" That means we can let loose right ... Arthur ?"

Arthur and Seth the cloaked figures turn to face the shadows surrounding them .

Suddenly he felt the world energy in the air churn violently as if seized by an invisible hand .
Immediately all the cultivators in the area turned towards head master's garden recognizing the phenomenon immediately.

A resounding crack like glass breaking is heard followed by a bang as the isolation barrier around the garden is destroyed revealing the area that's completely devastated with purple and blue flames burning wildly everywhere .
By the side stood Evangeline covered in golden energy, a few burns on her skin and a shocked expression on her face .
At the center stood Leo over Roland's burnt corpse his chest heaving while his aura flared wildly around him.
