Yan Xinya sprawled inelegantly on the bed, legs propped up on the coffee table, scrolling through videos on her phone.

"Anything's fine."
She reached the door, knocked lightly, but heard no response. Only then did she push it open and peek inside.
In the small guest room, Xi Xi lay motionless on the bed, completely unaware of her arrival.

Ning Chu hesitated, unsure whether to wake her.

It was her mother calling.
Ning Chu walked into the hallway, leaned against the wall, and answered the phone.

When she was alone with Wen Yang, her voice would be even sweeter, with a subtle, alluring charm.
