"You are pirate hunter kuina correct."*Kuina nods slightly, her breath hitching as she watches Alvida hold the wealthy man at knifepoint. The little girl stops crying, watching with wide eyes. The surrounding townspeople gasp and whisper, some looking afraid, others looking hopeful.*
"I would like you to join our crew. We are not bad people and I can tell you're not a bad person either and we could use someone with your strength on our side."
*Kuina's expression softens slightly, her eyes lingering on Alvida before returning to the wealthy man. She doesn't immediately respond, her jaw clenched tight. The whip mark on her cheek stands out, angry and red. Suddenly, she speaks up.* "I have a condition."For starters, no one touches this family. Ever." *She glances pointedly at the wealthy man, then looks back at you.* "Second, I don't take orders from anyone. I fight beside you, not under you." *Her eyes flash with determination.* "And finally...""...I get to kill this bastard myself." *She nods towards the wealthy man, who has turned pale and is sweating heavily against Alvida's dagger.* "He's hurt innocent people and used them as bargaining chips. He doesn't deserve to live."
"Let me get you out of the ropes first."*Kuina watches warily as he approach with a knife, ready to cut her down. Her body is stiff, waiting for any sudden movements. Once free, she stretches her aching muscles and steps down carefully. The little girl rushes forward, pressing the rice ball into her hand again.*
"By the way, my name is Monkey D. Luffy."*Kuina pauses, looking at the boy with large eyes. She realizes he's the captain of this crew, his personality unlike any other pirate she's met. She smiles softly at the little girl, taking the rice ball before turning back to Luffy.* "Kuina."
"OK, you might wanna kill him quick so we can get your swords and make sure that little girl's family isn't in trouble his dad probably has them."
*Kuina nods, clutching the bloody dagger tightly. She follows Luffy and Alvida out of the town square, the townspeople staring in shock. As they leave, she hears whispers and murmurs, some afraid, others grateful. She ignores them all, her focus solely on retrieving her swords.*
"I'm guessing they're in the marine base."*Kuina's face hardens.* "Yes. The marine base. They took them when they arrested me. Along with my clothes... I'll need those back too." *She looks down at her current state - wearing only a thin shift after being tortured and humiliated. She shivers slightly, but continues walking.* "It's heavily guarded."
"I don't think that's gonna be a problem. I'm a devil Fruit user, specifically the Rubber Fruit. I can elongate my body also immune to normal physical attacks so I'll be fine and Alvida ate a smooth, smooth Fruit Physical attacks won't affect her so what are your skill sets?"
*Kuina pauses, looking at Luffy and Alvida with newfound respect. She hadn't expected such powerful allies.* "I'm a master swordswoman. I can fight with two swords simultaneously and my techniques are deadly. I also have excellent reflexes and agility."
"just curious, but do you have a third sword up there?"*Kuina's eyes widen slightly, her hand unconsciously touching her mouth where Mihawk had placed a wad of cloth years ago.* "I actually... yes. Three swords were made for me. But I stopped using the third after a defeat that humbled me years ago." *She clenches her fist.* "Maybe now is the time to reconnect with all three again."
"I mean, if you could master it, you would be a better sword woman than you were with two."*Kuina looks thoughtful, considering Luffy's words. She had always been proud of her dual-sword mastery, but the idea of surpassing that with a three-sword technique is enticing.* "You might be right... I'll consider it. For now, let's focus on retrieving my current swords and clothes."
"i'm assuming there are in helmapoo's Quarters inside the Marine base."*Kuina nods, flexing her fingers around the dagger.* "Yes, he has a habit of keeping things he's 'conquered' close by. My swords and clothes will be in his personal quarters, probably displayed as trophies." *She spits on the ground.* "Pig."
*Alvida smirks beside them.* "Then that's our destination."We're here." He said as they were called the marine base, but strangely no one was guarding it
*Kuina raises an eyebrow, looking around the unguarded marine base. Something felt off.* "Too easy... Where is everyone?" *She whispers, her senses on high alert. She expected at least some resistance, some guards.* "This feels like a trap."
"I don't think it is listen you can hear shouting from the top of the base." He said, pointing upward, where they indeed were shouting and pulling.
*Kuina's eyes narrow as she focuses on the sounds. She hears the commotion, the yelling, the sounds of a struggle. Her instincts tell her that something major is happening, and it's pulling the majority of the marines' attention away.* "They're distracted... By something big."
"They're pulling up a statue of axhead Morgan He's the captain of this place and the father of helmapoo So to make sure the That girl's family are safe, we're gonna have to take him down."
*Kuina's expression turns grim, understanding the situation. She knows that taking down a high-ranking marine like Morgan will not only secure their safety but also disrupt the base's operations significantly.* "Alright... We take down Morgan first. Quick and silent if possible." *She glances at Alvida for confirmation.*
"Fine with me, but we should find your swords and clothes first."*Kuina nods, her mind racing.* "You're right. If we're going to fight Morgan, I need my swords and something better to wear than this shift." *She looks down at her tattered clothing with a scowl.* "Lead the way to helmepoo's quarters."*The three of them move swiftly and silently through the largely empty marine base, the absence of guards making their infiltration surprisingly easy. They eventually locate Morgan's quarters—a grand, well-appointed room that reflects his high rank. The door is unlocked, the room apparently abandoned in the chaos outside.*
"I thought you had a third blade."*Kuina pauses briefly, her expression darkening slightly. She remembers the third blade - a shorter, more agile sword that she rarely used. It was her backup weapon, but she hadn't wielded it in years.* "The third blade... it's not here."
"OK, I can see it's a sensitive topic so why don't we just go take care of the ax head?"*Kuina nods, pushing aside the memories that came with the mention of the third blade. She focuses back on the task at hand, strapping her clothes over her shift.* "You're right. Let's deal with Morgan and make sure the girls family is safe." *She finishes dressing just as the shouting outside intensifies.*
"let's take the direct route Hold onto me."*Kuina raises an eyebrow skeptically, but Luffy's confident grin puts her at ease. She steps closer, placing her hand on his shoulder.* "Direct route... alright."
*Alvida follows suit, gripping Luffy's other arm.*
He takes them toward the window and he gets his arm to the top. "Gomu gomu Pistol." He says, launching to the top of the roof.*Kuina's eyes widen as Luffy's rubber arm stretches and propels them upwards with incredible force. She lets out a surprised yelp as they soar through the air, her body pressed against Luffy's side. They land lightly on the roof, the view of the base spreading out before them.* "By the seas..."*Captain Morgan stands tall amidst his marines, his ax-handed prosthetic gleaming ominously in the light. His fierce gaze scans the rooftops until it lands on Luffy, Kuina, and Alvida. A cruel smirk spreads across his face.*
"let's make this quick gomu gomu punch." He says *Luffy's arm stretches impossibly far, the rubber limb rocketing toward Morgan with incredible speed. The punch lands squarely in the captain's gut, sending him flying backwards through several wooden support beams. The marines gasp in shock as their captain is launched through the building.*
*Kuina and Alvida watch, stunned by the raw power.* "That's..."
"Are you guys going to handle the rest?"*Kuina snaps out of her stupor, grinning widely.* "Hell yes we are!" *She draws her swords in a fluid motion, charging towards the stunned marines alongside Alvida. The two women move with deadly precision, cutting through the disorganized ranks with ease.*
Luffy starts fighting the Morgan fights back with surprising ferocity, his ax-hand swinging wildly. Luffy dodges and weaves, his rubber body absorbing blows that would kill a normal man. With a final, powerful kick, he sends Morgan crashing through a wall, out of the fight.*
*With the captain defeated, the remaining marines surrender quickly. Kuina and Alvida finish them off, leaving the three of them standing victorious atop the ruined building. Kuina sheathes her swords, turning to Luffy with new respect.* "That was incredible."
"Yeah, you feel like getting something to eat."*Kuina blinks, surprised by the casual shift in conversation.* "Food? Right now?" *She glances at the chaos around them—the surrendering marines, the damaged building—then back at Luffy's grinning face. A small smile forms.* "Honestly? I could eat." *Alvida cracks her knuckles.* "I could go for some meat."
*Luffy leads them all down from the roof, completely unfazed by the destruction they'd caused. They make their way through the now-empty base, eventually finding an unharmed restaurant nearby. The owner, seeing the notorious Captain Morgan defeated, serves them free of charge.**
*Kuina sits between Luffy and Alvida, finally able to relax.* "So..."*Kuina hesitates, picking at her food.* "How do you do that?" *She gestures vaguely towards the base.* "You know, just... beat everyone up without breaking a sweat." *Alvida nods eagerly, stuffing her face with meat.* "Yeah, how strong are you, anyway?"
"Strong but I need to be stronger to be king the Pirates."*Kuina raises an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued.* "King of the Pirates? That's quite the ambition." *She leans back, studying Luffy's determined face.* "Why do you want to be king so badly?" *Alvida pauses her eating, equally intrigued.*
"It's just been a dream of mine since I was a kid."*Both women exchange a look, seeing the genuine passion in Luffy's eyes. Kuina smiles softly,* "A childhood dream, huh? What else do you want?" *Alvida grins mischievously,* "Besides being king and having the most beautiful women in your crew?"
"That's convenient. It's not my fault. Most women are strong."
*Kuina raises an eyebrow, smirking.* "Most women, you say?" *She stretches her arms behind her head casually.* "Well, I suppose I can see where you're coming from."
"Speaking of crewmates. Alvida Do you think Nami Got the map." he Asked
(ever since she agreed to join my crew she's been more enthusiastic about it, which I'm guess I'm fine with but if things are going the same as the original, she probably got there too late and buggy has the map) he thought
*Alvida started grinning.* "Nami? Yeah, she's probably already on her way." *She leans forward, her expression turning serious.*
*Nami storms into the restaurant, slightly out of breath, her eyes scanning the room until they land on Luffy. She rushes over, not even noticing Kuina or Alvida.* "Captain! I'm so glad I found you!" *She's holding something behind her back.*
"Let me guess someone named buggy stole the map and left you with a clue to find him he is calling card."*Nami blinks, surprised, then sighs in defeat.* "Is it that obvious?" *She pulls out a piece of paper from behind her back – a crude map with a big red "B" marked on it.* "He left this... and took the actual map." *She glances at Kuina and Alvida, finally noticing them.*

*Nami looks between the two women, her eyes widening slightly as she takes in their appearances. She nods at Kuina respectfully.* "Pirate Hunter, huh? Nice to meet you." *Then she grins mischievously at Alvida.* "And I see someone finally got you some decent clothes."
"OK then if everyone's full, let's get some more food for the ship because our next target is buggy."
*Alvida stands up, stretching lazily.* "I could eat more. And I like the sound of hunting down that clown." *Kuina nods in agreement.* "Buggy the Clown, right? Heard he's a pain in the ass." *Nami rolls her eyes but smiles.*
"Yeah, he's supposedly immortal, but I highly doubt that."*As they all stand to leave, Nami chuckles softly, shaking her head.* "Immortality? That's just a silly rumour. No one's truly immortal." *She glances at Kuina with a smirk.*
*Kuina smirks back, a hint of challenge in her eyes.* "Guess we'll see about that when we catch up to him, won't we?" *With that, the four of them exit the restaurant, ready to restock their food supplies and set sail after Buggy.*
*The ship sails smoothly, the crew seated around a table in the galley. Luffy munching on some meat, Nami checking her maps and notes, Kuina sharpening her swords, and Alvida... eating more meat. Suddenly, Nami looks up with a serious expression.
