Chapter 806 - Chapter 3: Afternoon

When they arrived at the villa, everybody seemed eager to get naked. Once again, Harry felt that none of the Veela could come even close to his Hermione. The thought surprised him, though. Why would he feel so possessive of her? They'd been best friends since the first year, but that didn't make her his. Still just thinking of her as His Hermione, made him feel good. He was surely going to discuss this with her.

As was their custom, they all retired for an afternoon nap soon after lunch. Harry was surprised when Hermione knocked on his door a few minutes later, before he even had a chance to fall asleep. "I want to be with you," she said.

Harry wasn't sure what exactly she meant. He found out a moment later, as Hermione stretched herself on the bed at his side, resting her head on his shoulder. She then turned to face him, hugging him with her free arm. His arms moved as if on their own to hug her closer. Hermione put her lips on his and kissed him lightly. Harry responded, kissing her back.

It was as if a dam had burst open. Both teens started showing their feelings to each other. The light kissing turned into heavy snogging, the light caresses became intensive petting, and before they even thought about it, Harry's erection slid into Hermione's slippery entrance, easily overcoming the slight resistance of her hymen.

They felt insatiable. After reaching their first peak, they only rested long enough to regain their breaths before resuming that very pleasurable activity, reaching higher and higher peaks, until they became too tired to continue. They collapsed into slumber, still hugging each other tightly.

An hour later, the door opened when Gabbi walked in to wake Harry, as had become her habit since Harry had joined her family. She then noticed the couple on the bed, stopped on her track, swallowed her whimper and rushed out of the room, not even closing the door. A few minutes later, Jean came in. She observed the scene apprehensively and then nodded as if accepting the inevitable, before approaching the sleeping couple and lightly shaking Hermione's shoulder. "Darling, wake up. Time to join us all for a swim."

Hermione just mumbled something, pressing herself even tighter onto Harry. Jean had to try a few more times before her daughter started responding. Hermione opened her eyes blearily and suddenly recognized her mother. "Mum! What are you doing here?"

Jean smiled, not quite happily. "I could ask the same question, only it's very clear what you've been doing here."

It took Hermione a moment to clear her head and understand what her mother was saying. She then blushed furiously. "We didn't plan this. It just… happened…"

"Did you use any kind of protection?" her mother insisted.

Hermione blushed even redder. "It wasn't planned. I didn't think…"

"It's evident that you didn't think. Is there any magical way to handle this situation after the deed, or do we need to buy the 'Day After' pill?"

Hermione gave it some thought. "I think I can handle this. There's very little chance for me to be already impregnated. I only need to clean myself internally, extracting all that Harry gave me." She frowned as she was talking. "I don't really like the idea," she added.

"Would you rather become a mother at sixteen?" Jean insisted.

Hermione sighed. "I'll talk with Harry about this before I do anything."

The conversation had awakened Harry, eventually, but he only heard the last sentence. "What do you need to talk with me about?" he asked, not fully awake yet.

"You both need a reminder about thinking before acting," Jean said sternly. She then smiled understandingly. "Please don't make me a grandmother too soon, and I suggest you take care of these signs before leaving the room," she pointed at the bed sheet that had some dark red spots, along with some much fainter stains, all quite fresh.

Harry blushed, remembering their activity before falling asleep. Jean didn't wait. She just left the room, closing the door behind her.

"I should have cast the contraceptive charm as soon as I came here. I should have expected this to happen," Hermione said, sounding contrite.

"What do you mean? Are you pregnant already?" Harry sounded worried and apologetic all at once.

She smiled back. "No, I'm not. It normally takes a woman several hours from intercourse to fertilization, even at her most fertile times, and another day before the fertilized egg settles into the womb, starting a pregnancy. As I've just finished my period, I'm probably quite safe. Would you like me to clean myself, just in case?"

Harry thought for a moment and then frowned just a bit. "I actually love the idea of impregnating you, of having children with you and raising them together, but…" He sighed before he continued speaking. "We're really too young to start a family, and I fear we shall need to fight Voldemort before we have a chance to settle down." He sighed once more. "Maybe you should really clean yourself. We should also take proper precautions from now on."

It suddenly occurred to him that he was talking as if they were already an established couple. He blushed again and apologized, "I really shouldn't think that way, but since we came here, I'm thinking of you as mine, of us as a couple. I hope it doesn't offend you, I mean…"

She wouldn't let him continue. "Harry, I've been thinking of you as 'My Harry' at least since the third year. Now, after we've consummated our love, I'm surer than ever that we're going to stay together for the rest of our lives. Does it make any sense to you?"

Some things that Fleur had said earlier, suddenly became clearer. "Fleur said we're deeply in love. She said we're probably soul mates. Do you feel any different than before?"

Hermione chuckled. "My thighs are much sorer…" She saw Harry frown again. "Just joking. It really felt like our first time established some kind of connection between us. I'm not sure, as I wasn't quite coherent at the time, but I think there was some glow, some light around us. It might have been that bond thing."

"I don't mind what it's called, as long as you stay with me," he said seriously.

"Always! Now, let's clean the bed and join the others before somebody else comes looking for us."

They left the room to join the others at the pool only a few minutes later, after Hermione had also performed all the relevant charms on herself, making as sure as she could that their afternoon activity would not bring unplanned results.

As they approached the pool, walking hand in hand, they heard a loud gasp and then another, quieter. Fleur stood up and walked to meet them. "You've completed the bond, I see."

"What do you mean?" Hermione asked.

"You shagged, that's evident, and that completed the soul bond. You should expect some official letter announcing you of your change of status, Lady Potter." There was some slight undertone of mischief and amusement in Fleur's voice.

Harry didn't want to dwell on it. The whole situation was confusing enough, and he needed some time just to fully understand his feelings towards Hermione. All else would come after that, as he felt. "I need to swim some more," he said, changing the subject. "I'm still not good enough. Do you want to join me?"

Both girls said "Yes!"

Harry just waved his hand at the others, who were sitting a bit farther, and jumped into the water. Hermione jumped after him. Fleur looked at the two with a smile before using the stairs into the pool and swimming leisurely in the same direction.

Claude joined them after they swam two lengths. He paid special attention to Harry, instructing him how to swim more efficiently. He then swam along with the youngsters, complimenting Hermione on her swimming style.

After spending about half an hour in the pool, Harry needed some rest. He plopped on one of the tanning beds, Hermione settling herself on the adjacent one. Gabbi came to sit near her. "You didn't waste your time," she commented. "You shagged him as soon as you had some privacy." She didn't sound happy about that.

"I didn't plan it this way. It just… happened. Why should it bother you, though?"

Gabbi blushed. "I hoped I'd have a chance with him. Now that you bonded, it looks like I'd better look for somebody else."

Fleur heard it too. "You didn't really have a chance to start with, you know. He's been with us for a week, and no matter what you did, you couldn't get him to respond, while Hermione didn't even need to try. Besides, you know that by letting a man deflower you, you create a certain bond that may prove dangerous, unless you choose wisely. Harry is certainly not the right one for you."

Gabbi pouted. "He could have been, had he not bonded with Hermione."

Fleur shook her head. "No, he couldn't. He's been in love with Hermione way before he first saw you. Neither of us could have any chance with him at that point."

"I still think I could be good for him," Gabbi insisted.

"Maybe, but it's a moot point right now." Fleur turned her attention back to the couple. "Where will you live, when not at school?"

Hermione shrugged. She had evidently not thought of that before. Harry looked bewildered. "I don't really know. I don't remember all that the Goblins told me, but I think they said that I owned a few places. Not sure if they are suitable, though."

Fleur smiled at his confusion. "I believe you could stay with my family for most of the summer, and Hermione's parents would probably accept you for the rest of the summer, so it's not urgent." Harry seemed relieved hearing this.

Claude approached them with an envelope. "This came in while you were asleep. It's not marked as urgent, yet you should at least read it promptly."

It was a letter from his solicitor. "I've done about all that I could without meeting you and talking to you. To give you further aid and for my work to be more useful, I believe we should meet. Don't worry about me keeping your whereabouts secret, as that is covered by the oath I've given to House Potter before being accepted for the job. I understand that you fear some leaks. To cover that, you may use Gringotts' services to provide me with a portkey from their London branch to one nearer to you and then another from that branch to wherever you'd like us to meet. Please consider this urgent, as I'm sure that you'd like everything to be settled by the time you return to school."

Harry showed this to Hermione. "What do you think?"

She read carefully. "I'm not sure what she needs to do, but her request and the suggested precautions seem fine. You could meet her at some restaurant which has private rooms, or even here, if you like."

"I think it's safe enough to meet her here, and the wards would prevent any uninvited guest from coming, redirecting portkey and apparition travellers to the nearest beach, a bit on the deeper water side," Claude commented.

"In that case, we shall meet her here. We only need to go to the local Gringotts branch to set everything before informing Mrs. Tonks," Harry agreed.

With that settled, they enjoyed their afternoon, swimming some more and then playing some water games. As if by prior understanding, all women tried to let Harry touch them quite intimately during the game, acting like it was by chance, yet Harry seemed oblivious to them, only paying attention to Hermione. It was as if Hermione had a spotlight on her while all the others were kept in the shadows, barely visible. Harry did apologize when his hand slipped, touching a tit or slipping between the thighs of the women. Claude tried hard not to laugh at the tests the women were putting Harry through, although he felt a bit jealous of the young lad.

They all showered after leaving the pool. Hermione joined Harry in the shower, but it felt so natural for them both that they didn't even notice the snickering.

The adults decided to dine at an elegant restaurant, taking the youngsters along. This also meant getting dressed, and quite formally. Harry liked the way Hermione looked in an evening gown, suitable for a teen. Apolline, Jean and Fleur also wore evening gowns, all looking very impressive. Gabbi frowned at not being allowed an evening gown as well, despite having practically the same measures as her sister. She had to wear a simple dress, suitable for young teens. Harry thought she looked very sweet in it, but the young girl clearly wanted to look more mature and more enticing.

It turned into a long evening. Unlike dinner at home or at school, this was a very elaborate affair, turning into a kind of celebration where the food, as tasty as it was, only provided the right atmosphere for people to enjoy themselves.
