Chapter 908 - Chapter 2: Ball

Luna sat at his side at dinner the next day. Hermione just nodded at the younger girl and smiled approvingly. Ron was most surprised, though. "Luna? Why are you here?"

Once again, Luna sounded quite dreamy. "I suggested teaching Harry Potter how to dance at the ball, as he needs to dance there. Do you have any problem with this, Ronald Bilius Weasley?"

Ron grimaced as she said his full name. Harry was already aware that Ron's mother was only using the full names when she was very angry at one of her children. Luna seemed oblivious to it, as she added, "You also seem to have grown much taller since I last saw you."

Ron's confusion was evident, yet he managed to answer. "You've also grown quite a bit. You've only been a small girl the last time, and now you're almost a woman. And no, I don't mind if you teach my friend. He really needs that."

Luna smiled at his words and then turned to her meal, eating silently. Harry had a feeling that she was still listening to their conversation and paying attention to every detail.

Luna grabbed his arm as soon as he finished his meal. "Let's start your lesson."

With so many unused classrooms at Hogwarts, there was no problem finding one quite close to the Great Hall, but not on any well-traveled corridor. Luna had evidently prepared it in advance, as the room she led Harry to was already cleared of dust and the tables stacked against the walls, leaving most of the floor space uncluttered. She also had an instrument that reminded Harry of a transistor radio or a small music player. Unlike these instruments, it didn't use electricity in any way, but it played some music just the same.

Luna led him to the middle of the floor. "Let's start with the slow dances, as they are the more formal ones. First, you need to hold your partner close." She moved closer to Harry until she was almost touching him.

"Now, your right hand should go to my waist, here, and your left should hold my hand this way." She moved his hands to the right position and let him hold her close. Harry was becoming very aware of her feminine scent and her curves. He rather liked both.

An hour later, Harry wasn't too sure he liked dancing. He enjoyed keeping Luna so close, feeling the curve of her waist and occasionally brushing against other parts of her body. Looking into her face, feeling immersed in her silvery eyes, also felt nice. Yet his legs ached from using unfamiliar muscles, and he was sure he would get cramps if he didn't take immediate care of them. He really had no choice, though. As a champion, he had to dance at the ball, and he'd rather do it well.

It took a few days before he became comfortable with dancing. Luna didn't mind if he held her closer than strictly needed, or if he pressed her breasts to his chest. Harry had a feeling that she rather liked it. She even took off her school robes, staying in blouse and skirt only, to give him a feeling closer to that expected at the ball. Some of her upper buttons were not closed, and he got a nice glimpse at her breasts, which she didn't bother to put in a bra.

Luna proved to be a good teacher. Within a week, Harry was already able to dance quite nicely, at least in the slow dances. She also proved to be very smart, reminding him of Hermione more than once, and just as pretty, or maybe even prettier. Harry was no longer sure about that. After hugging Luna for quite some time while dancing, he was getting accustomed to the physical contact. It no longer felt weird to hug her, and it was really nicer than hugging Hermione, as Luna didn't mind clinging to him, while Hermione kept herself quite stiff.

Once Luna thought he was good enough with the slow dances, she moved to some faster ones, still making sure he knew all the formal movements and executed them flawlessly. She used to reward him every time he managed not to step on her toes with a quick kiss on his cheek. Harry made sure to get as many rewards as possible.

"How are your dance lessons going?" Hermione asked him one evening.

"I think they're going well. I've not stepped on Luna's toes for more than a week. She's now trying to teach me how to act at a ball in other ways. I'm not sure I need that, as I can't see myself going willingly to any ball, but if she deems that important…"

Hermione smiled at that. "How do you feel about her?"

Harry didn't know for sure. "She reminds me of you in some ways. She's almost as smart and quite bossy, occasionally. She even rolls her eyes at me in a similar way. She doesn't act too weirdly in my company, and I think I really like her now."

"Is that enough for you to marry her?" Hermione asked.

He shrugged. "How would I know? Besides, I don't plan on marrying before I finish Hogwarts, or even later, after I get myself a job. It's too early to think about that now."

"Luna seems to think differently, I believe," Hermione commented.

Harry nodded. "She does say some weird things occasionally. She said she was going to have a very elegant dress for the ball, as if it were her wedding, since she doesn't think she'd have another wedding ceremony. It doesn't even make sense."

Hermione shrugged. "It may not, or you may eventually find what she really meant. Women tend to be mysterious at times, you should know."

"Like you hiding the identity of your date," he teased her.

"Yes, like that," she agreed.

–..–

Harry wasn't really ready for the way Luna looked when he met her before the ball. She replaced her usual jewels with a very elegant set that perfectly fit her pale-yellow dress. The low-cut dress made her diamond necklace stand out, also allowing a glimpse at the two swells on her chest, hinting at very nice breasts hidden a bit lower. Her figure was certainly more feminine than he had expected. The school robes and uniform were certainly not doing her justice.

"You look magnificent," he told her.

"Is that enough for a kiss?" she asked him.

Harry was confused once again. Luna didn't mind, though. She stretched herself up and put her lips on his, initiating a kiss. Harry responded almost automatically, soon turning it into a very passionate kiss, stopping short of making it a snog only due to the presence of Professor McGonagall. He was so enchanted by his own date that he almost failed to notice that Hermione was Krum's date. She looked much better than he could have expected, yet she was still not on the same level as Luna, he thought.

Harry felt quite proud when walking at Luna's side into the Great Hall. Judging by the sounds he could hear, many were unable to recognize the blonde beauty at his side, almost confusing her with the French champion. Still, Hermione grabbed a larger part of the gossip and the glares. It looked like Krum had as many fan-girls as Harry, none of whom was glad to see the infamous bookworm as his date. Many Slytherins were also offended that the famous Quidditch star had chosen a Muggleborn as his date.

Dinner was quite pleasant. With Luna at his right and Hermione at his left, shielding him from the Ministry's officials, Harry felt quite nice. When the time came for the first dance, Harry was confident in his ability to dance properly, despite some apprehension. He held Luna tenderly, and their dance turned out to be exemplary. Both Hermione and Fleur congratulated him on his dancing skills. He later danced with each of them. He skipped dancing with Cho, knowing how she was treating Luna at the Ravenclaw dorms.

After several more dances, Luna seemed to get tired. "Why don't we drink a bit and then rest for a while in the enchanted garden?" she suggested.

Harry agreed. He let her wait near where Ron was sitting all alone, not having secured any date for the ball, and feeling betrayed by Hermione dating Krum. Harry brought some drinks. They both drank their fill and then walked to the garden, disregarding Ron's complaints.

Many of the benches in that garden were already occupied. They walked quite a bit there before finding an unoccupied bench, partly hidden behind some bushes. Luna cast a few privacy shields before turning to Harry, who was already sitting.

"I suggest you lower your trousers and your boxers."

Harry was too surprised to say much. He only asked, "Why?"

"You wouldn't want to stain them with my virginity blood, would you?" Luna answered as if this was self-evident.

Harry tried to comprehend. Taking her virginity meant a shag, as far as he knew, not that he had any previous experience. "But… you're only thirteen!"

Luna smiled teasingly. "I'm actually fourteen. I'm only two months younger than you. Besides, since you're my future husband, I'd like to be with you as soon as I can. Why wait until we're older if we can already enjoy it now?"

Harry frowned. "Shouldn't love be a part of it?"

Her smile widened. "Of course it should. Would I offer this if I didn't love you? And once we do it, I know you're going to love me just as much."

Harry complied, too confused to argue. Luna lifted the hem of her dress, making him aware that she was not wearing knickers. As his body reacted to the view, she swiftly sat down, accepting his erection inside her, and hiding it all with her dress.

Harry felt his organ sliding into her body, with only mild resistance at the beginning. She seemed to be quite ready for him. Luna grimaced for a moment and sat still for a few seconds, letting Harry get accustomed to the new feelings, just as she needed to do.

She then started moving up and down. It was slow at first, but it soon turned quite wild. Harry couldn't sit still and started moving as well, complementing her movements. He wasn't even sure what he was doing, acting on pure instincts only.

Luna knew exactly what she wanted and adjusted her movements to give her maximum pleasure. With no real help from Harry, she was soon writhing in her first orgasm, her inner muscles contracting around Harry's organ. This was too much for him to hold off, and he reached his peak soon after her. The moment he started spilling into his partner, he saw a bright flash illuminating the whole garden. "Here goes any chance for discretion," he groaned.

It took Luna some time before she replied. "I think that was our magical wedding," she said happily.

Harry didn't want to think of that, dismissing it just like another "Luna talk." Both needed to recuperate a bit. Harry just held Luna close to his heart as both calmed down. He noticed some people looking for the source of that flash, but Luna's privacy shield held well, allowing nobody to spot them.

Once their breathing calmed down enough, Luna used her wand to remove any signs of their activity. She then stood up cautiously. Judging by her grimace, Harry was sure that her thighs, at least, hurt. She cast another spell on that area and smiled with relief as the spell seemed to remove the pain. "Lift your boxers and your trousers and make yourself decent again," she told him. Harry complied.

"Now, don't I even get a kiss?" she pouted.

Harry engulfed her in a tight hug. He wasn't yet sure what exactly he was feeling towards this young woman, who was possibly his wife now, if her interpretation was right, but kissing a beautiful girl was not something he would object to. He bent down to her lips. She lifted herself on her toes. Unlike the kiss before the ball, this one was not interrupted by anybody. Harry felt as if Luna was pouring all her love into the kiss, making him respond with love as well. By the time their lungs forced them to stop that kiss, Harry was sure that he loved Luna, at least to some extent.

Luna removed the privacy shields and tucked her wand back in her clothes. Harry grabbed her hand and they returned to the ball hand in hand.
