Chapter 48 - The Miracle of Love

Where the Sky Touched Our Hearts:

The morning air was infused with the fragrance of love.

Abu Dhabi was bathed in a soft golden glow.

The two of them stepped out of the hotel room and slowly made their way toward the Observation Deck at 300.

Richer said gently,

"Ramish… I've already told you about its height.

Will you be able to stay calm up there?

If you're feeling scared about going, it's completely fine—we don't have to go."

Ramish smiled and held his hand.

"When you're with me, how could I possibly be afraid?"

Richer gave a faint smile.

"Don't worry… I'm with you.

If you feel even a little scared, just tell me, and we'll come back down."

Ramish looked at him gratefully.

"Thank you for caring so much… If I feel afraid, I'll tell you.

But if at that moment you hold me in your arms,

I'll feel even safer."

Richer nodded with a soft smile.

Playfully, Ramish said,

"Richer… I wish I had wings.

I would show you the whole of Abu Dhabi from the sky."

Richer laughed.

"When we reach up there, you'll feel like you're flying anyway.

This is the height of perfection.

The view of the city from there is truly beautiful."

They stepped into the elevator.

It carried them toward the heights.

As soon as they stepped out,

a breathtaking view of the city awaited them.

Morning light filled the space,

and beyond the glass walls,

the city bathed in sunlight looked like a dream.

Richer lovingly extended his hand toward Ramish.

"Come… let's admire the city together."

Ramish took his hand,

and they walked toward the glass wall.

The city spread beneath them

offered a heart-touching sight.

For a few moments, Ramish fell silent.

The height brought a faint seriousness to his face.

Richer asked softly,

"Ramish… are you okay?"

Ramish nodded quietly.

Sensing the moment, Richer quickly changed the mood.

"Come, let's sit at that table.

Let's have breakfast first—I'm really hungry."

They sat down.

Smiling, Richer asked,

"Ramish, will you order breakfast?"

Ramish replied lightly,

"No… whatever you order, I'll eat."

Richer placed the order,

then mischievously asked,

"By the way… what did you eat last night after we got back?"

Ramish answered softly,

"I didn't order anything."

Richer was surprised.

"What do you mean? Did you eat something on the way?"

Ramish shook his head.

"No… just like you, I didn't eat anything."

A hint of annoyance entered Richer's tone.

"Why? Why didn't you order food for yourself?

Why did you sleep hungry all night?"

Ramish smiled gently.

"You fell asleep hungry…

My heart wouldn't allow me to eat, while you have asleep hungry and I go to bed with my stomach full..

So I didn't eat either."

Richer said with mild frustration,

"That's not right.

I fell asleep because I was tired.

You should have ordered food for yourself."

Ramish replied playfully,

"I told you before…

My hunger disappears the moment I see you.

Last night, I fell asleep just watching you.

After looking at you to my heart's content,

I didn't feel hungry at all."

Richer responded with mock anger,

"There you go again!

Fine—I'll eat breakfast, and you just keep watching me.

Let's see how your stomach fills that way."

Ramish laughed.

"Baby… don't be so cruel.

Though honestly, you look even more adorable when you're angry."

Richer rolled his eyes,

but a smile still curved his lips.

And amidst the heights,

their gentle teasing

made the morning even more beautiful.

The air of the morning was filled with the fragrance of love.

Ramish smiled and said,

"You look very good when you smile… so always keep smiling."

Just then, breakfast arrived and was beautifully laid out on the table.

Richer picked up a plate, served some food onto it, and gently placed it in front of Ramish.

Pointing toward the plate, he said softly,

"Come on… now eat quickly."

Ramish smiled at Richer and quietly began eating.

For a while, they both eat in silence.

Richer glanced up and noticed that Ramish was looking down, eating very slowly.

"Ramish… are you okay?" he asked gently.

"Yes, I'm perfectly fine," Ramish replied.

But Richer wasn't fully convinced. He stood up, moved his chair closer, and sat beside him.

Ramish looked at him with silent eyes.

Richer took a bite with his fork and held it toward Ramish.

Ramish was slightly startled, but after looking deeply into Richer's quiet yet expressive eyes, he accepted the bite.

Placing his arm gently around Ramish's shoulder, Richer said softly,

"I'm with you… there's no need to worry."

Ramish blinked with a faint smile.

Soon, they began feeding each other playfully. Between soft laughter and comfortable silence, breakfast came to an end.

Looking beyond the glass wall, Ramish said,

"Richer… the view of the sea from up here is incredible.

It feels as if the city is woven like a net over the water."

Richer smiled.

"Exactly… and the buildings in the distance look as if they're touching the horizon."

Then he added,

"Finish your tea, and then we'll look at the city through the telescope."

With a playful tone, Ramish replied,

"Then I'll finish my tea quickly."

Richer laughed.

"Don't rush too much… you might burn your mouth."

Ramish's eyes sparkled.

"You're here to take care of me, aren't you?"

Richer picked up the napkin from the table and gently wiped the tea from the corner of Ramish's lips.

"I'm always ready to take care of you."

Ramish's eyes filled with wonder and love as they locked into Richer's.

For a few moments, time seemed to stand still.

Then Ramish lowered his gaze with a soft smile, though his heartbeat still carried the warmth of Richer's closeness.

After finishing tea, Ramish smiled and said,

"Richer… let's go to the telescope."

Richer nodded.

"Yes, let's."

They walked slowly toward it.

Richer gestured and said,

"Ramish, look at the city through this… it's very clear."

Ramish replied softly,

"Richer, come… let's look together."

Richer chuckled lightly.

"How can we look together?

You look and tell me what you see."

Ramish shook his head.

"No… we'll look together."

"How?" Richer asked in curiosity.

"Bring your face close to the lens," Ramish said mischievously.

Richer leaned in toward the telescope.

The next moment, Ramish stepped closer.

He placed one eye on the lens, and Richer positioned his eye beside it.

Their faces brushed against each other.

They could feel the warmth of each other's breath.

Richer smiled.

"Ramish… this is actually a good idea.

This way we can see together."

They gazed at the city spread across the sea.

Below them, the buildings looked like a carefully drawn map,

and the blue water shimmered in the sunlight.

After a few moments, Ramish pulled back and said,

"Richer… I want to stand by the glass wall and look outside."

Richer studied him for a second, then smiled.

"Of course."

Ramish stood near the glass, quietly looking at the city below.

The height sent a faint tremor through him,

yet the view was breathtaking.

A few moments later, Richer came up behind him and gently wrapped his arms around him.

"What are you looking at so quietly?" he whispered.

Ramish answered softly,

"This height looks frightening…

but the view from here is extraordinary."

Richer held him a little closer.

"When I'm with you,

why fear anything?

Just enjoy the view."

In a low voice, Ramish said,

"I'm just wondering…

how someone who feels afraid of such a height today

once flew through the vast skies

and reached you."

Richer replied tenderly,

"Perhaps it was the power of your love

that made you fearless."

Ramish turned his face toward him.

Richer leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on his cheek.

A gentle smile spread across Ramish's lips.

They stood there for a while, watching the city together,

as if time itself had paused.

After some time, Richer asked,

"Ramish… shall we go?

Or do you want to stay a little longer?"

"No… let's go," Ramish said quietly.

Richer called the manager and asked him to bring the car.

They took the elevator down,

their hearts still beating in quiet harmony.

Soon, they reached the car and sit in it.

As the car moved through the city streets,

their next journey began —

toward Yas Waterworld.

The morning light had now fully spread across the city,

and a new chapter awaited them.
