The house had been uninhabited for years, and no one knew where the lock on the door had gone.
Bella Green stared blankly at the rusted iron gate.
As she walked to the entrance, Bella raised her hand, slowly moving toward the door that would open at a touch...
"Who are you looking for?"
A crisp voice rang out, making Bella instantly retract her hand. She quickly pulled up her scarf to cover her face.
"No, I got the wrong place."
Bella said, swiftly exiting the yard and returning home.
Without anyone noticing, after they left, the loosely closed door was gently pushed open by the wind, creaking slowly open.
Almost all the windows inside were sealed shut, but with the door open, light streamed in, illuminating the room that hadn't seen daylight for years.
If someone were here, they'd surely be terrified.
Not for any other reason, but for the shocking dried bloodstains covering the walls...
