"You are at the Bennett Family?" Bella Green asked in shock.
"Impossible, she's offended you, who else could it be? I was wrong, I was really wrong. Didn't Mr. Bennett teach us a lesson? Bella, I'm your aunt, for heaven's sake! I beg you to show mercy and spare Xylia. She's been good to you since childhood, you can't be ungrateful."
Lily Johnson's voice echoed with cries, and there seemed to be some background noise, as if someone was speaking.
Bella Green sensed something was off and quickly asked.
"What happened to Xylia?"
"Xylia is missing. Someone said they saw her being taken away. It must be Mason Bennett. It's I who was blinded by greed, wishing for money and hoping Xylia would be with Mr. Bennett. It's all my fault; arrest me instead, she has nothing to do with it. That girl always opposed my doing this, it's my decision alone."
Lily Johnson was quite distressed, and her words were somewhat incoherent now.
Bella Green noticed several important points.
