"I called him, but I'm not sure if he'll come." Emerie said innocently.
"Mom, my brother only has eyes for Sophie now, he doesn't care about you or Dad." Emerie snorted disdainfully.
Just because of Sophie, look, it's made their family restless. How good they were together before.
"Dad, look at my brother, once he saw Charles was capable, he rushed to suck up to him, ignoring us." Emerie scoffed contemptuously, "My brother sucking up to his own son-in-law? Honestly... Saying it out loud, it's shameful!"
"Do you think I want to have a sister who would give away her own niece?" The hospital room door opened, and Mason walked in from outside, glaring coldly at Emerie.
Emerie wasn't afraid of Mason anymore, retorting defiantly, "That happened so long ago, why bring it up again? Are you bored or what?"
What shameless words!
Mason couldn't be bothered with Emerie; ever since she married Benjamin, she had gone astray.
