This successfully drew Ms. Wang's attention from where she was plating dishes. She teased, "Doctors are so busy, and nobody takes good care of him, of course he'll lose weight."
Mu Ke didn't reply, actually, the Mu Family had quite a few opinions on his choice to study medicine, but no one could change his mind.
Later, the Mu Family moved back to S City from B City. Ms. Wang wholeheartedly hoped her son would return to S City after graduation. Their roots were here, making it easier to arrange a job and find a girlfriend, but Mu Ke wasn't willing. He went to B City without hesitation, which deepened the gap between mother and son.
However, they are cultured people, and although not entirely satisfied, they wouldn't really hold a grudge, but they would occasionally nag a bit.
