Although curious and anxious for her own brother, Zhou Chengchen still wouldn't help Zhou Qi confess. Handling such matters poorly would be awkward and counterproductive.
Two days later, Xiao Rou successfully resigned, and Zhou Chengchen was also heading back to the United Kingdom the following evening.
The two girls spent an afternoon shopping, and later that night, they called Xi Siyan and the others out for a gathering.
Xi Siyan and Liu Xiaoyu came directly from the company, which wasn't far, so they arrived quickly. Zhou Qi and An Rui were further away and arrived after a while.
"You finally made it; I'm about to starve."
Just as Zhou Qi and An Rui pushed open the private room door, they heard Zhou Chengchen shouting.
An Rui smiled apologetically: "Sorry, sorry, it's all the traffic jams in B City."
With quite a few people, Zhou Chengchen had booked a private room with a big round table. The extra seats were removed, leaving only two beside Xiao Rou.
