Compared to billions of euros or even more in returns, San Remo's club value isn't actually high after players leave.
Lu Yang wants to come over, just to leave a memento of his football career's starting point, not to build a club.
If he really wanted to start one, it wouldn't be an Italian Serie A club; Italian football is declining.
The commercial football hub still needs to be the Premier League.
"So, won't you be transferring?" Sofia knew about Lu Yang's career plans; after this season, Lu Yang was definitely leaving San Remo, perhaps even Serie A.
"Of course, I will transfer," Lu Yang said. "Just because the platform is yours doesn't mean you should stay on it. Doing so would actively shrink your circle."
San Remo belongs only to Italy.
And Italian football is just a fraction of world football.
