This counts as a consolation prize after failing to win the grand award.
Of course, there are also those that are extraordinarily impressive.
For example, someone like Izalelt, who won both Best Player and Best Midfielder.
This kind of performance shows that his dominance that year was overwhelming, with the gap between him and second place being too vast; not awarding Izalelt would be unconvincing.
And this year, Serie A's Best Forward is... Lu Yang!
Best Player Lu Yang, Best Forward, still Lu Yang.
This clearly suggests that in the eyes of the officials, between Carrel and Lu Yang, they favor Lu Yang more.
There's actually no need for debate.
In terms of goals scored, assists made, breaking scoring records, shooting conversion rate, and expected goals, Lu Yang surpasses Carrel in every category.
He deserves the title of Best Forward.
The competition for Best Midfielder, however, is particularly fierce.
