This poses a huge restriction for Shen Sui.
He can't repeatedly activate the effect of the Golden Ship to quickly unfold in a single turn.
He can't even have Martina repeatedly activate Spell Cards.
Under such constraints, given the current high-star cards in his hand, Shen Sui indeed finds it difficult to summon followers with resistance in a single turn.
But no matter what, this Environment Card must be dealt with.
Otherwise, he'll be dragged into Theis' familiar game of high-star card brute strength skirmish, where the powerful effects of his Life Cards wouldn't be able to perform.
The crux is, unlike Event Cards, Environment Cards don't have turn limits—they persist unless countered by another Environment Card, meaning the "Dark Grand Rift" will keep existing.
Shen Sui quickly reviewed the Environment Cards he had in his deck.
