Beisitian indeed felt fascinated after seeing this book, but for someone well-read like her, it wasn't enough to make her indulge in it. Furthermore, although the book's content was vast and impressive, it was different from her system, which was why she slowed down from the beginning.
Of course, while the system was different, many parts could serve as references, as an accumulation of experience.
Although she was quite absorbed at first, she got stuck at a part that somewhat contradicted some of her theories. But, whether it was her theory or the book's, both could cure the ailment.
So she was puzzled.
The master had said not to think too hard when confused, as it's easy to get fixated, so she put the book down.
