"Thank you, big brother!" Luo Yirui picked up the ball and said.
Gu Haiqing gave a slight nod. He wasn't very good at dealing with kids, especially when those black-grape eyes kept staring at you; it made him feel completely ill at ease.
Seeing Gu Haiqing go into the room, Luo Yirui stuck out his tongue at Zhuangzhuang, who was squatting nearby. He'd originally wanted to do some sneaky tailing—it felt very exciting—but he hadn't held onto the ball properly and it had rolled right out. He hurried after it and completely forgot he was supposed to be hiding.
"Let's go back." Luo Yirui waved his hand and called Zhuangzhuang to walk back with him.
Just then, he ran straight into that big brother who'd been shouting earlier. What was his name again? It was too complicated; Luo Yirui hadn't remembered it.
"Kid, you need to watch where you're going, you just bumped into me!" Zhan Hongjun had his hands in his pockets, looking down at Luo Yirui who was rubbing his nose.
