Lawrence Winters had already guessed it, and now it was merely confirmed.
She nodded at Nathan Sheldon and smiled, "Good evening, Mr. Nathan. It's an honor to meet you."
She was just being polite; she didn't really feel "honored."
Nathan Sheldon knew it too and said, "Likewise. Miss Winters, your dress looks nice today. Is it from Dior as well?"
Lawrence raised an eyebrow, "No, I'm just an ordinary employee. How could I afford Dior's haute couture? I bought this ready-made outfit at Dior's flagship store. It's a vintage style they couldn't sell and were about to reclaim, so I got it."
"It was only a few thousand dollars. I got a bargain."
Nathan thought of Ruby Sheldon's haute couture dress, which cost six figures, nearly seven.
It's almost one hundred times the price of Lawrence's dress, no wonder Ruby wasn't pleased earlier.
But how could the Dior brand make such a blunder? It definitely needed a thorough investigation.
