Su Xiaomeng's drowsiness instantly vanished. She glanced at Yin Shixiu, who was already asleep beside her, then got out of bed and tiptoed to the balcony.
"Xiao Ang?"
"...Ang."
Xiao Meng listened to Xiao Ang using his own name as a filler sound and couldn't help finding it really funny.
She sat down in the single rocking chair on the balcony, covered her mouth and yawned, not wanting Xiao Ang to hear the sleepy fatigue in her voice. After the yawn, Xiao Meng cleared her throat and asked,
"It's so late, why aren't you asleep yet? Whose phone are you using? Your Dad's?"
"...Ang, Dad's phone."
After answering, Xiao Ang hurriedly added, "I don't have a phone yet. When I do, I'll call you with my own phone."
Su Xiaomeng suddenly laughed. Curled up alone in the rocking chair, gently swaying the bamboo seat, she said, "Then why are you calling me? Did you run into some problem?"
"Uh... I..."
