Aurelia Shaw found it amusing.
She had never seen Mason Nightshade so out of sorts; apparently, his weakness was cats.
Indeed, there were always cats outside the house, and then there was also her, the little rebellious wildcat.
"Go to sleep!" Mason ordered.
Was she this happy to see him flustered?
One of these days, he'd have to teach this little girl a lesson, thoroughly solidify his place in her heart.
In just a few minutes, Aurelia yawned five or six times, yet she was still holding onto the script, her head hitting against the sofa several times.
Mason contemplated changing the sofa at home to one with down feathers so that it wouldn't hurt when she bumped into it.
Though with him around, he would never let her get hurt.
"Go to sleep now. If you don't, I'll have Amanda Fuller burn your script," he urged.
Before she went to sleep, she absolutely had to read her script for a few hours. If he didn't urge her, she would definitely fall asleep on the sofa.
